Shame for Izzaguire, he looked really good and would only be down like 10-15 seconds. Hopefully he didn't break anything and it's just scrapes.

Well, it is what it is but according to people on a spanish forum the road on the climb was perfectly fine, no snow either side... People like Alvaro Pino have also said this on spanish TV.

A bloody shame to see a small race pretty much strong armed into cutting their queen stage by the peloton.

Please, someone ask Mosquera to help Volta a Portugal. With him we would have a nice Volta. Climbs like Roxo, Colcurinho, Gramaça, Soito da Ruiva, Torre by Unhais, Senhora do Desterro, São Macário, Malhapão, São Barnabé and a lot other would finally be in Volta a Portugal.
Please Mosquera :)
Loved Gran Camino route last year anda loved the one this year, even eith some cancelled mountaisn.

Organisers of this race will learn that a four stage race should not have an ITT i - There is always the chance you will have a neutralised and an adjusted stage which happened in this edition.
Even if there only were two stages, it would still be fine with an ITT. And the course of this ITT suits the race well. Just like last year.

If I were the organiser I'd be ganging with Pereiro for next year to have a 4000m climbing stage near the coast, in the style of the stage 20 of the '21 Vuelta.
