Paid for by the Restore America's Voice Foundation: http://reporting.sunlightfoundation...mmittee/restore-americas-voice-pac/C00489807/

Hardcore conservative super PAC. Here's where the money is likely really going:

Negative: 100% Opposes Democrats: $1,489,335.78 Opposes Republicans: $0.00
Positive: 0% Supports Democrats: $0.00 Supports Republicans: $0.00

No mention of Armstrong that I can see in their expenditures. Is this some kind of weird meta-scam? Are they duping Armstrong idiots--I mean, supporters and using the money to attack the Democrats?

my guess is this is a pure scam designed to get braindamaged lance fans to part with their credit card info and that no one mentioned in their site, lance, the pac, or anyone else is even aware of this yet and the site will soon be gone but not before they scam a few credit card numbers.

Local rag - the Times Colonist takes on lance in its editorial cartoon:

Meanwhile it was reported in la Gazzetta dello Sport today that the Australian ex-pro, Stephen Swart, has revealed that Armstrong offered him $50,000 in 93 to fix the Thrift Drug Triple Crown of Cycling, which culminated with the Philly race that LA won. LA also won the other two events, for which he took the $1 million dollar bonos triple crown prize. Seems like yesterday.

The Daily Show's Lewis Black taking down Lance!!! Video to be posted as soon as it's available.

It's up now on the official website. The segment is titled "Lance Armstrong, B*tt Chugging & Farm Animal S*x".

More from the comedy department: The Daily Bugle w. John Oliver & Andy Zaltzman (link) has a fine recap of the Armstrong affair but also interesting new details including among other things a Kawasaki 350 and a condor egg (from min 23.55).

He may well of gone there for doping reasons on occasions*, but he may also have just gone for a weekend away with the wife.

And, yes, he would have easily have been unnoticed by the media. Celebrities (unless they're prime tabloid fodder) tend to go about their day with little attention (unless they want it).

"In Tyler Hamilton's book "The Secret Race" he discusses the training camp in May 2000, supporting LeMond's claim. In his autobiography Hamilton writes: "As Johan [Bruyneel] explained it, Lance, Kevin, and I would fly to Valencia. We would donate a bag of blood, which would be stored, and we'd fly home the next day."

La la la.......

Way to go Steve!! I guess the ginseng kicked in..way to remember stuff like this. Another critical fact. I can't wait to see all the stuff Matt White starts "remembering" Lance and I killed kittens and he made me draw a pentagram.
