This I would love to see. I wonder how long he'll keep his teeth after he gives some jailbird 'the look'?

Yes his 'tude in jail wouldn't go down well.

Unless he can win the bench press competition in the yard.

He could hook up the Bros with some high grade roids?

That would depend on what kind of "look."

I care no end.

Triathlon is (beleive it or not) a real sport under the olympic umbrella. If my child later moves on from (the also olympic) sports of football, swimming and running into triathlon, I sure as sh!t wouldn't want that guy around, highlighted or referenced to in any way, shape or form.

Send him to fake wrestling, body building or ultimate fighting. He'll fit right in...

Now, about the doping issues in those olympic sports, I digress...

He could do tag team with Tonya Harding.

Rider A dopes, rider B doesn't:
A get's $fame & $glory, B get's out and can't complain.
First world problem, right? The unfair treatment of B is not an issue since A is winning on a level field ;)

Rider A and also-ran rider C are caught and banned:
A get's banned for life, C get's 6 months.
This is major violation of the universal rights of fairness since A was clearly better than C on the level field and cheated fairly. Call in the Human Rights squadron and make sure A get's a reduction while C get's proportionally slapped on the wrist.

Let us all be on the alert for unfair punishment of cheating white male bicycle riders...

Universal rights of fairness. Love it!

I know a few more despots who could use a UN Commission on fairness. Ferrari, and Fuentes would queue right up for that one as they only make training plans. Help! Wonderboy is a victim! Not fair! :D

So Lance admits in the video it was Verbruggen who helped with the cover up of the positive with the backdated prescription in 99.

No surprise, but fine to get it "confirmed" public.

Some funny bits in the article, I liked this one: " I ask him why he remains in contact with Michele Ferrari, and why he even allowed Ferrari to oversee the more scientific aspects of his training in his attempts to take the triathlon world by storm prior to receiving his ban from competition. Does the association not remain damaging? 'I care for him,' he says." Love is in the air..:)

At the start of the video, you hear Lance say that Hein said that the positive in 99 was a big problem and that they would have come up with something which resulted in the backdated prescription. Listen back, he mentions Hein by name.

The EPO talk is in relation to Ferrari warning them about the new EPO test.

Listening to Lance talk one just can't hardly believe a word he says. He is so full of ****.
Poor Emma, just looks like that is the last place in the world she wants to be next to him.

Relax. LA is full of crap, but don't for a minute think Emma is sitting there without getting some something out out of it.

We need to see full disclosure from Armstrong. 20-30 riders along with doctors, suppliers, UCI folks (other than Hein), DSs etc.

ah, got it now, thanks!
and interesting.
So the relationship between lance and verbruggen can confidently be said to be bankrupt.

He admits the same in the Gibney film. I don't think it's actually a revelation. Fairly standard stuff around the time.

Now it's officially war.

Literally.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...s-lance-armstrong-whistleblower-suit/3620275/

It's called the Wartime Suspension of Limitations Act. Because the United States was at war in Afghanistan around the time of Armstrong's alleged fraud, Landis' attorneys are arguing that normal time limits don't apply to Landis' case against his former cycling teammate. Even though a case about doping in cycling has nothing to do with American military hostilities, they say the wartime act allows them to go back further in time to collect damages against Armstrong...

I haven't seen Landis come out to defend himself or his lawsuit for quite some time. I wonder if he really thinks he is morally justified. I tend to doubt it.

I don't think it would be appropriate and it's not so much his lawsuit. More so the governments.

Also life goes on. It's time for Armstrong to defend himself rather than others talking.

Floyd doesn't have to defend himself so why should he say anything. If there was something to say he is smart enough to let his attorneys speak.
Quite unlike Lance, who is the Defendent.

Legally I'm sure that's correct, but morality is a different question. I don't get the feeling that Landis wants to be caught trying to justify it all. How on earth could he justify this latest idea to use war powers or something? He was all over social media for a long time, then it went dead. I think he knows there are few people out there - whether they be people in the sport, journalists or fans - who really think this lawsuit is a great idea.

If he ends up getting a big pay check out of this, which seems likely, I don't think the government will look too great either.

People who know the sport inside out like Emma Oreally know Lance is getting a bum rap.

Once upon a time that s*** caled that woman a prostitute.

WEll, My guess is Emma is certainly getting paid, at last. But rather happily, it's Lance whose going to do the bending over. Poetic justice, of a sort...

If you think Landis is the one doing this, when there are lawyers involved, looking at 30%+ commission of whatever they manage to extract from LA, you haven't watched enough court room based TV.

At least Landis has to pay back money, and is going to via this case assuming he wins.

And outs Carmichael with 'And like most of the guys I was faced with a decision early in my career. '

He's covering for Wiesel and the rest of his pals and pinning it on Hein. Interesting implications for Cookson's proposed show because it wraps everything up nicely in a box that ends with McQuaid's departure.

Emma's absolutely right, it's not a 'lone doper' story. And yet, MailOnline writes the story as 'the lone doper' and rush right by the fact the head of the Olympic sports federation was hiding positives.

It opens the door to investigate the IOC, IMO, and that is something that I would definitely like to see.

Wouldn't place any money on that coming to fruition, though.

Well then I think you would be very wrong.
