I´d watch it. I love realistic movies, but not the crap Hollywood feeds us now. So a LA movie would be a nice diversion.
Dustin Hoffman?
There is only two people that come to mind he could play: Hein or Pat...

Won't be one of the baddies. They are always played by British actors in Hollywood

I wish there was a poll asking "would you watch the Lance movie?" because I wonder how much interest it would really get. I would not watch it no matter how star studded the cast was.

maybe cast him as Merckx? in a camio

At this point, I don't see how Wonderboy could be a sympathetic character if the story has the slightest bit of the actual story in it. It would be very difficult to do an anti-hero main character. So, it will likely be propaganda-level truthiness.

I can see why they got funding. Many of the people in it are exactly like Armstrong. For some of the money/distributing people it's a story about one of their own getting caught somehow.

Seems like a "DVD only" movie to me. I'll give it one star on Netflix.

Hoffman would be Tygart assuming that is a scene. That's easy casting, easy drama, and relatively easy scene to write.

Successful, big budget movies would not finance a story that breaks working movie formulas. It won't have any basis in reality because Wonderboy is not a sympathetic main character.

Using a TV cop-crime-scene-investigation show as the formula, USADA could be an "internal affairs investigators" against the sympathetic, but sometimes breaks-the-rules police officer.

The Wonderboy movie fits in this structure:
SEQUENCE ONE - Status Quo & Inciting Incident
SEQUENCE TWO - Predicament & Lock In
SEQUENCE THREE - First Obstacle & Raising the Stakes
SEQUENCE FOUR - First Culmination/Midpoint
SEQUENCE FIVE - Subplot & Rising Action
SEQUENCE SIX - Main Culmination/End of Act Two
SEQUENCE SEVEN - New Tension & Twist
SEQUENCE EIGHT - Resolution

Your characters (with some duplicates/nonsense): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stock_characters

That will be 100,000 euro, please.

I'm thinking "Top Gun" except with bikes.

I'd see it if it were a sympathy play and titled How I Met Your Mother. that would be awesome

Then he can only act as Travis... I think it could fit too.

I think he's about two feet too short, plus with his head shaved, he'd scare little children.

It will take a long time for Armstrongs legal battles to end. His lawyers sure dont want that to happen till they have bled the SOB dry.:D

He's too stupid to see that though. It'll be nice watching him become completely broke.

From the latest interview with Lance "the victim" Armstrong.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/lance-armstrong-theres-a-lot-of-hypocrisy-in-cycling

“The bike? No more cycling. I’ve virtually given up riding in the last year. I only ride with friends.”

I guess we can conclude by this that he has virtually no friends.

LOL, Nice!

If he doesn't ride anymore, or wants to, then why does he continue whining about his LT ban, why not just deal with it, and go play golf? because he can't. He's dying to get back into cycling in some capacity, and the LT ban is killing him.

IMO, he'll still try to fight or make some kind of offer to Floyd/US Govt over the Whistleblower case, his word doesn;t hold up anymore.

Also, he mentions Merckx in that article. I have no proof here, but hasn't Eddy admitted to doing some sort of illegal doping/activity during his career?

Lance does not get it.

After reading todays article on Lance from Italy I realize that he just does not get it and is obviously prepped by his spin team. Yes he is guilty of so much more than doping. He is trying to manipulate the media just as before only this time saying he was like everyone else. Oh really? I really do not remember anyone else trying to destroy people as Lance did. I don't remember anyone lying (his protected right under the 5th amendment) to survivors of cancer and making an industry out of it. I would consider the action similar to the human shield element of war. I wish cycling news would stop feeding us this BS and get the fact that nothing has changed in his media manipulation. Good bye Lance. You are not relevant anymore.

Yes, including being sanctioned. It didn't slow him down too much... It didn't make him so much faster either.

For the newer reader, the doping of Lemond and earlier wasn't oxygen vector doping. Merckx's positive was doping that didn't do much, or had very high physical costs so it couldn't work well for grand tour podiums. Look at Lemond's last TdF as the year EPO really took off.

He's still desperate to have himself canonized in cycling legend. Unfortunately, that spot is taken by Lemond!

But I repeat, in 2009 I stayed well away from doping.

Liar.

Nothing has changed.

Yes Lance's silent protest against the bike.

Perhaps he'll end the global love affair with the bicycle?

Or maybe he was right all along? It's not about the bike.

I'm thinking Bottle for Dustin

Peter Fonda is a cinch for Motoman, so my money's on Dr. Ferrari. Or Didi Senft.

I am guessing Dustin could play Levi. He is the right height, just needs a bald wig.

Seriously, somebody needs to call a waahmbulance for Lance.
