What were those acronyms anyway? JV? UCI?

Nothing as incriminating as Lance talking about "the true believers" in his Oprah interview (that made me laugh for those who were stubborn and annoyed for the period of time that I was one).

The point is get on with your life, instead of wallowing in drama.
agreed.
I mean stuff like this
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. I was slowly beginning the painful realization that his talk was cheap.
that's giving the sorry image of sad betty sitting with the telephone in her hands waiting for lance to call.

I don't really disagree with anything she wrote.
i think it is a bit over the top to hold lance responsible for
the destruction of the sport itself on a global level
1. the sport isn't destructed. 2. lance is not solely responsible for that.

In that case, let me observe that I will shamelessly accept whatever bone she might throw my way and post it here as my own, independent thought.

I am in such celebrity awe, and of such low moral station, that Betsy will never need to pay some organization like Public Strategies to employ dozens of hired interns and/or sockpuppets to repeat, ad nauseum, whatever stupid, unbelievable and unreconcilable sh!te that could be sent my way.

Dave.

You didn't get the "Andreau True Believer Astroturfing Services Contract" from their global PR firm yet? I did and I'm earning $81 a day working from home. You will be shocked when you earn $95 a day, but you'll figure it out soon enough. If you need a job, just PM me for the link.

It was nice to see the comments over at the bikepunk site. The best part is Wonderboy is doing it to himself. Not changing a bit is working great for him!

To call bicycling grand tour events sport is a little difficult these days. Maybe like WWE wrestling is a sport?

With DiLuca's lifeban he can no longer even claim to have been singled out for unique punishment.

Part of me wants his to do the head to head ironman, just to see him lose.

The other part of me doesn't want to give him that much publicity.

.

This is the dilemma, although personally I would rather he crawl into a hole and disappear - not going to happen though as he is rentlessly seeking to return to the spotlit stage.

Didn'y Tyler get 8 years. Or did he get life? Why should Lance get any less than him?
I'm ok with 8 yrs starting 2010.

This is what I'm unclear about. Travis Tygart said Lance's ban could possibly be reduced to 8 years.. but from what starting date?

Never going to happen…

This was mentioned ONLY if Lance were to step up and give forth a lot of info that would be helpful.. he missed his chance and made it clear that he would never work with USADA..

he's a d*ck

Lance is a liar. When he says he would never work with WADA, he was lying. When the lawsuit risk has cleared up, Lance will talk. Then he'll get a reduction. To me, it seems inevitable.

Lance will manipulate. Then he'll get nothing. To me, it seems inevitable.

You could be right about the lawsuit risk though.

Tyler was a rider, Armstrong was a team owner. There is a difference. Tyler held his hands up and admitted his doping. Armstrong tried to get the USADA shut down FFS. Again big difference.

Have you not been following this story? Because comparing Hamilton and Armstrong comes across as stupidty or trolling!

It will take a long time for Armstrongs legal battles to end. His lawyers sure dont want that to happen till they have bled the SOB dry.:D

You are misunderstanding me. Read again. I asked how many years Tyler got. Knowing that, there is no way Lance should get less than that.
IF Lance was to fully cooperate with USADA, if he got 8 years from 2010 I would be ok with that. As long as it was not less than Tyler.

Jeez

Reading the latest non-news on Armstrong: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/lance-armstrong-theres-a-lot-of-hypocrisy-in-cycling

There is the usual whingeing that he got unfairly punished compared to others but he does mention his penchant for golf now in that he brings his clubs with him on every trip - aiming to win a few pro-ams in the US, is he? Doesn't need to do any drug tests for them or does he?

You're onto something there: Tiger Woods' ex is exactly his type.

Jeez, Read again, Tyler was a rider, Armstrong an owner.

I would be ok if his ban was lifted after he is buried.

Hein or Gibney.

It's based on SDS so Gibney would be ruled out. Hein is a likely one but I wouldn't rule it out being someone like Weisel either.

I´d watch it. I love realistic movies, but not the crap Hollywood feeds us now. So a LA movie would be a nice diversion.
Dustin Hoffman?
There is only two people that come to mind he could play: Hein or Pat...
