I will also point out, as uspostal did above, that there were many people who were aware of LA's doping, and doping in the sport. Yet, they said nothing and continued to be in the sport either as a rider or as an employee of an entity associated with it.

Has Betsy called out the other 7 yrs worth of staff who knew? Picking out Crow who is a big name is really wrong, try the team members 1st. So according to Betsy all the teammates of LA have no ethics and said nothing while he was burning down the forest. Try to find someone else to blame, Crow realistically had no dog in the fight.

Well lets see Sheryl Crow, 16 million records sold, overall value an estimated $40 million dollars, and 9 Grammy awards. Betsy wife of a never was cyclist, who wants someone else to stick their neck out for her. I'd say Sheryl has about 40 million reasons not to stick her neck out. OK so I'm not sure if Sheryl is a big name but between the 2 its easy to see who's name is bigger.

Was Betsy's role actually that significant? Doubtless she had a high profile dispute with Lance and was shown to be correct, but without Landis "singing", what would Betsy have achieved?

Um, err, well... how about immediately after?

As in, (paraphrase): "Frankie, if you are doing that crap the wedding is off..."

Before the SCA deposition, Betsy was just 'Frankie's old lady..' and did not qualify for bit player status according to the Lance.

If anything, Betsy has arguably been as consistent as Lance in this whole caper.

It is hard to believe that Lance could ever do anything clean in the future. Extremely hard. To Lance's own puzzle over whether this was one big lie or a whole bunch of lies merely confirms that Lance was, is and always will be a big liar.

It is equally hard to believe that if someone asked Betsy about doping that she wouldn't speak her mind.

Armstrong's downfall, IMO, was Floyd as the essential catalyst plus the unwillingness of the other USPS co-conspirators to lie under oath to protect Armstrong. Armstrong marginalized the others very effectively up until that point.

She spoke to Walsh for LA Con long before that...however I do have an issue with certain people on here having a go at Crowe yet saying JV made the right decision by waiting so long...for the record I think they are both a disgrace.

LA Confidential came out in 2003 or 4. She knew LA was doping long before that, and that fact is documented in both SCA and the USADA depositions.

If she would have started squawking in 2000 she could have gone on Larry King and bawled then, saving the innocent peloton from LA's wrath. But she didn't, which is logical but some of you in here are too invested in her BS to want to understand why. Her husband continued riding with him after the PED discovery, and they continued to profit from LA's wins while he was riding and afterwards with the TV gig.

You can list all you want on your little shyt list, digger. The fact is that the whole sport was and for the most part still is a cesspool even for your flawed heroes, who still want to take tequila shots with their darlin'.

On the record only once that I'm aware of for L.A Confidentiel. That would have been published in 2004. Around 8 years after hearing the comments about LA's ped use and after Lance had already won 5 tours.

I thought Crow's comments were succinct and accurate.

What it means chewie is there was an agenda in play by several persons that had nothing to do with the topic of Lance let alone the sub-discussion about Betsy, Sheryl Crow or Betsy and Sheryl Crow. and I am not going to let them use those persons on this forum to carry out said agendas.
