Watched half of this last night, missed the first 45 minutes or so. Nothing new, just summarises some of what went on, with interviews with Lemond, the Andreus, and some other folks (mostly those who got shafted by LA). Interesting footage of his appearances on the David Letterman show, how he's fawned over by DL, then after the USADA report comes out, the response by DL is "who cares about cycling anyway?"

Nobody cares about cycling unless there are large amounts of taxes unpaid or money laundered. Then the IRS and Justice will get excited and maybe reopen the GJ portion of Lance's chronicled legal biography.
Hopefully the Padua investigation has some specifics since the report here in CN implicates RadioShack.
That vein in Lance's forehead has to be pulsing about now...

His point was never about Vino, it was about whining about him being caught.

With all his crying about due process Lance does not seem to think Vino deserves it.

Most of us think Vino, and his buddies, should be removed from the sport. There is a process in place to do this, and it has just started. The 550 page investigation has been handed over to CONI. Now they must get collaborating witnesses and build a case against Vino. Then he can be sanctioned and choose to fight it or not.

Some would prefer summary executions but that is not how it is done

He does tend to have that effect...

"Lance Armstrong once stared at me and answered questions in a mean way during a press conference...and the peloton was rife with doping and Armstrong was the worst..."---"Mr. Walsh, Mr. Brailsford is on the phone asking if you'd like to discuss margial gains over some tea and biscuits?"

Lance Armstrong speaks of honor...in golf...

http://www.linkslifegolf.com/2014/12/12/wtf-lance-armstrong-speaks-of-honor/

Golf is different from the culture of cycling when I was competing, and that’s putting it mildly. Cycling, it was the Wild West. Nobody considered doping cheating. It was an arms race where absolutely anything went, and it was every man for himself.

You might consider me the last guy to have anything to say about cheating, but golf is different. I love adhering to a code of honor that we in cycling didn’t have.

If I moved my ball in the rough and got caught, I wouldn’t just regret it. I’d be heartbroken forever.

So remember kids, it isn't cheating until they catch you cheating...

O'Reilly interview. Not much new apart a kick in the teeth for Walsh.

"It wasn’t his fault, because the interviewee doesn’t normally get sued – he was as shocked as me."

Apparently Armstrong and his paid thugs opened new frontiers of destroying honest people who simply told the truth.

Rule number 1 - when you cross a psychopath, run don't walk. And never look back.

Are there any details about his doping program for 98 Vuelta? Another motoman? Or in Spain nobody was scared, just in France? I red Tyler's book, I watched some 3-4 documentaries about him but I don't seem to remember anything about that Vuelta.

Whatever. It is all just ways to disguise the talking points "I wasn't cheating, because everyone was doing it." "I'm not a bad guy, it's all cycling's fault."

Besides, I'm pretty sure there is doping in pro-golf.

So yeah, talking point fail.

I don't think anyone knows for sure. If I remember correctly, a number of golfers have been linked to "doping Doctors." No proof that they doped, but it looks sketchy.

Things like steroids, T and HgH can benefit athletes in just about any sport. The ability to work out longer, heal faster and get stronger usually improves performance. Well, if you're willing to hack the health risks, anyhow.

Poetic justice if true.

Tony Galea. Busted not for doping, but moving the dope across the Canadian border. Should be out of jail real soon. Look him up.

yes, yes, yes. Tiger has had consistent tendon and ligament injuries over the past 7 years cos of the stuff he was using, PEDs that built his physique without equivalent strengthening of his white tissue scaffolding, the ligaments and tendons

There are allegations and rumors that he took opioid painkillers. I couldn't find a reputable source to substantiate those, however. But IF it's true (big if) one can do a lot of damage to oneself if your natural pain response is blocked by drugs.
