Landis posting tweets about having a world renowned body language expert to verify if Tyler was telling lies on the live broadcast of 60 Minutes was comedy gold. Halfwits were tweeting back that the guru body language expert was going to prove Tyler a liar. Fanboys will believe anything.

Since the value of the Livestrong trademark owned by the foundation is closely tied to the reputation and marketability of the individual behind it, doesn't it make sense that Livestrong pays all of LA's personal legal fees? How convenient for LA.

Hey! As a retired, mostly, attorney, I resent your aspersions on the practice of the hired guns in common law jurisdictions. That said, I'm really starting to find it amazing that Fabio is still employed by Armstrong. This isn't Bill with Monica in an alcove in the West Wing.

That said, I'm really starting to find it amazing that Fabio is still employed by Armstrong. This isn't Bill with Monica in an alcove in the West Wing.

I'm seeing this as poetic justice that LA seems to have been taken in by the Legend of Fibiani as surely as the "cult" has been taken in by the Legend of Livestrong, when it's all smoke and mirrors for anyone paying attention.

I don't know... Obviously a PR campaign can't really do much to people who are actually informed, but I'm afraid Fabiani's tricks might work on other kind of audiences.

Well if LA wanted to pay for his own defense out of his own pocket instead of passing the buck to livestrong.org (or is it .com?...I can never tell the difference), that would be his prerogative...after all, we are defined by the choices we make.

BTW I am not usually a grammar cop, but the baseball player's last name is "Bonds" - as in "Polish bonds with Flickr." It's neither possessive (ergo, doesn't call for an apostrophe) nor rocket science, but it is someone's name.

Well there has always been plenty of intentional confusion b/t .com & .org where LA is concerned.

I do like that his pathetic defense ploy has become a gay Internet meme. He's a great addition to the lemonparty (is that .org or .com?)

All that money being spent, and the execution is a complete disaster.

Facts4Lance was poorly conceived, and even more poorly executed.

And, pursued in such a rush that the twitter handle and .org hijacking underscore the tailspin.

Somebody is having a good laugh over this. But, it only serves to display how foolish and panicked the original idea was.

If Lance isn't listening to his high priced advisors, he should start. If he has been listening, he needs to fire them.

Confused by the recklessness, and lack of task completion, I consulted 'Livestrong' for an explanation:

Aggression

Sociopaths ... have low self-discipline to complete tasks... recklessness may lead to failing to appear in court or pay fines...

Livestrong seems to understand the sociopath pretty well. Maybe they have an inside source.
