the napkin is yours..what a wet mess to clean up. I am only thinking of what might happen while everybody else already knows..so unfair. Lance has his chickens already counted .people have pardons for things undone as part of the process..step off and take charity
Lancie puff look at this sh-t..they see you
the seeing have you by the nards my man..give up now.you see they have you. GWB is probably a reason that lance has not got the full octane of law from a investigation that was founded before barrack.

You need a history lesson.

No Federal investigation could have occurred before Obama was sworn into office in 2009.

Lance's cycling conduct was governed by private club rules of the UCI controlled by Hein and Pat influenced by unprecedented hundreds of thousands of $s of donations flowing from LA to Hein/Pat/UCI/Investigator Vrijjman in 2001-2006.

Also, Livestrong donations of $2m in 2006-2007 to research facilities of doctors who did not identify themselves for SCA legal proceedings or had sworn a false affidavit.

The genesis of the Federal investigation was the information contained in the Floyd emails leaked in 2010. With Federal intervention to investigate breaches of Federal laws the professional cycling omerta relied on by LA that had protected him previously was broken.

I think its sum zero.

Personally, I try to separate what LA 'does' for cancer exposure and psychopathology. This is hard and massively suspect because there are innumerable other figure heads who would be where he is/was if all his lying and cheating were exposed(soon) and his philanthropic rise to stardum was a just a smear on the sidewalk. But, his letter was reasonable despite once again publically trying to align himself with far better human beings for the sole purpose of popularity in LA's personal time of need.

Why not just tell everyone why you looked up to him and feel about his death? Delete the stuff about how you interacted with him, what you are doing ...look at me, look at me?

Just go away Lance.

Disturbing attempt to exploit Steve Job's death for public attention. Wants to remind everyone that he is the patron saint of cancer.

Yeah, they were "great friends"....That is why their only communication in the last 9 months was a one line email.

youve been reading my twitter stream. :D

But ditto. Such great friends, had one meeting, and since then occasional emails and a "thank you" one liner for his birthday wishes.

Another sad excuse by armstrong to push his livestrong brand. This time being their iphone and ipad app thats coming out.

I know whenever I have lunch with someone once we become life long friends. Happens all the time.

And qualifying Jobs' battle with cancer, as if Armstrong is a tactical genius that defeated the disease because he fought it hardest and best-

"After his death Wednesday, I know what they're going to write. They're going to say Steve Jobs "lost his battle with pancreatic cancer." But that's not true. Steve, like every football coach who ever lived, didn't lose his battle. He just ran out of time."

WTF this means I'll never know. And I doubt Armstrong knows, either.

means nothing when it comes from wonderboy ;)

Many people will die today from cancer.
They did not lose, they are not losers.
They just ran out of time.
So it goes.

Means nothing to you, fine.
No biggie.

You invoke the sufferings of cancer survivors to disparage Armstrong.
Armstrong invokes the sufferings of cancer survivors to enhance his brand.
What's the real difference between what you are doing and what Armstrong is doing?

Benotti is raising the hopes of dozens of haters here in the clinic.

But what happens if Lance is not indicted?
They will be crushed:(

It's a shame to see Benotti doing a variant of the sleazy thing Armstrong is doing. That's all I'm saying.

"Cancer awareness" is needed about as much as "death awareness." Money goes to Armstrong that could be going to research and/or treatment. That's awful. And the way he blends his moneymaking with his "awareness raising" is disgusting. The man lacks an ethical sensibility.

The problem I have is that it would have come across better if he said.. "I didn't know Steve that well. But in the two hours we meet he inspired me, excited me.... etc. etc. etc." - rather than pretend they were close and elude that Steve consulted him on various cancer treatments.

Per the email Jobs was famous for his one line email replies. He wrote everyday to 1000's of customers. Many believed there was a ghost writer. I'll guess we'll find out when then authorised biography is released at the end of October - there's a list of his famous one liners at Macrumors.com.

Examples here: http://techcrunch.com/2010/04/12/an...drop-support-for-the-first-generation-iphone/ - http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=8357

- I guess that puts Armstrong not as a "friend" but just another guy in the 1000s that Jobs would reply to...

The clincher is the gratuitous plug for the Livestrong apps - the for profit Livestrong apps. Shameless.

....I wonder in that two hour meeting back in 2007 if Jobs asked Lance about the drug accusations? If he did you can bet Armstrong lied to him.
