Poursuivant said:Thanks. I suppose this would be an issue for foreign authorities, not feds, if the transfusions were not in USA.
Velodude said:Technically, a transfusion is the transfer from one individual to another. With blood doping they were infusing their own blood which is also a medical procedure which can only be carried out by a licensed medical practitioner.
Polish said:Floyd described infusions with two doctors overseeing the procedure per rider.
Making sure everything was ok.
Rider's health a priority.
Compare that with teams like Kelme yikes.
Blue Train versus riders collapsed at the side of the road.

2004: Again the team performed two seperate blood transfusions on me, but this time Bruyneel had become more paranoid and we did the draws by flying to Belgium and meeting at an unknown persons appartment and the blood was brought by "Duffy" who was at that time Johans assistant of sorts. The second of which was performed on the team bus on the ride from the finish of a stage to the hotel during which the driver pretended to have engine trouble and stopped on a remote mountain road for an hour or so so the entire team could have half a liter of blood added. This was the only time that I ever saw the entire team being transfused in plain view of all the other riders and bus driver. That team included Lance Armstrong, George Hincapie and I as the only Americans.

Floyd's email makes no mention of doctors.
Microchip said:I couldn't find the thread which discussed the likelihood of google tweaking search results so I'm commenting about it here. The thread was about the drop down suggestions, for example, suggested words implied a couple was divorced, and noteworthy was the absence of the mention of the Wall Street Journal's article in google news for that week.
The reason for looking up the thread is because it's obviously true.
There are no headlines about the re-opening of Natalie Wood's drowning; plus, type in "robert" and you see a bunch of "roberts" come up, type in "w" "a" "g" ... by the time you get to the "g" you'd think his name would appear. Not there. It's impossible for this to be unintentional.
Just saying...
Cobblestoned said:People, fellow fanboys and haters.
This can't be true.
Thats more than 72h without any post in the best thread this forum has to deliver.
Now, there is a significant new piece.
Lance has a new avatar. I told you so.
Happy man.

and there are rumours that some folks believe that mr armstrong was not doping in his 7 wins at the tdf.fatandfast said:I think I can speak for Polish on this one, we both hope that the same crack investigative techniques used in the Natalie Wood case are used to root out any wrong doing in the Armstrong affair. I am not sure if Christopher Walken knows Lance but he may be afraid to answer honestly. These cases may have some common factors, I hope that Noviztky can get both of these cases solved in the next couple of decades.
I feel both cases demand lots of tax payer money. There are also rumors that Gilligan's Island was a real place, I feel that should be investigated also using whatever money is needed from the federal account. I have also just been informed that there are pizza trees on Gilligan's Island I hope the government can get to the bottom of all these mysteries.

fatandfast said:To bad Novitzky can't adopt your standard of guilt he would would be batting 1000. Rumors equal lots of funny posts but no changes to the 7 records .Way to go Lance you squeaked out of this thing by inches.
For Novitsky and the Feds, the standard is beyond a reasonable doubt, if the case go to trial.Velodude said:What standard of guilt (sic) has Novitzky adopted and where is the evidence?
Is there a precedent for a body to act on rumors to strip an athlete of prior achievements?

His Passport confiscated we were told BUT is not the Grenadines a destination that requires a Passport ?
Latest tweet says he will be sailing there whilst our American Friends enjoy the " Thanksgiving Holiday "!
" Land of the Free , home of the Brave" ? Wonder what the " Oaf ( see Google ) of Wall Street " has planned for those of O W S who are trying to help the 99% get out from under ?
Realised why so many are anti Lance? He is part of the 1% , the tall poppies who escaped the clutches that caught " Jo Capp " and so happy to see that Jeannie will continue to tweak the noses of those that try to belittle her contribution to Women's Cycling ! Another French Championship or two please to rub FFC and UCI incompetence in the dirt !
Unless he comes within the Grenadines territorial jurisdiction he is not required to produce his US passport."Spending the Thanksgiving holidays sailing around the Grenadines."
