Enough with the Spin and Lies!

I have not posted for a while, but after reading the FACTS4LANCE garbage I felt compelled to write something. First let me establish that I am not a Lance hater nor a Lance fanboy -- although I have been accused of the latter. I have tried to remain neutral and interpret the facts without bias. I will confess to having given Armstrong a pass when others have tried to vilify the man, his charity and his record with inconsequential and unsubstantiated innuendo. That being said, this is a new low by either side. The character assignations contained in this amateurish website is unrivaled. Mr. Armstrong, you have lost the support of at least one objective observer and that sound you are hearing is the gavel crashing as you just lost your case in the court of public opinion.

In regards to Tyler, he has a credibility issue to be sure, but who from that era of procycling doesn’t? Show me a clean rider who stood on the podium in any major race from 1996 to 2006. On a side note, for those who save old Cyclesport Magazines issues, in 1999 or 2000 there was a profile on Tyler Hamilton and in the article, he said that he had not graduated from college, that he was a few classes short. Look it up! Having been interviewed by reporters several times in my life, I know that information can be reported inaccurately and then picked up by another source and makes it into another story and . . . well you get the idea. But at least here, in this magazine, the truth was reported.

Good post. I like reading people's opinions when they support them.

Looks like an intern did it. Hey, Fabio... if you want the public to take your client seriously, don't use Yahoo Geocites or a comparable webpage template.

I love how he thinks that the US government would have any jurisdiction whatsoever over whether or not Hamilton would keep is Olympic medal. Ever hear of the IOC genius?

The only way this site would look anymore amateurish is if there was a quote from Lance that said Tyler was a "dumb dumb stupid head poopy pants"

I can't believe you guys are falling for this.

The site was put together by a 6th grader from Folsom, CA named Connor Ellison. He appeared on the news there the other day. Link here.

I would bet that the target audience has somewhere around a 10th grade education - nothing more.

The two comments under that story are great...one says "kid, you need a new hero..." and the other says "wow, that mom is hot!" Classic...

Proud to have Conner as a member of the Fanboy Club.
He'll get over it. I cried too when I first found out btw.
No way he will move to the darkside.

And I would not be suprised if Lance contacts Conner.
Tough guy to tough guy heart to heart.
Of course Lance will get in touch with mom first lol.

Lance Armstrong’s Lawyer’s Website Is Hilariously Ugly
May 21 2011

As added ammo of ex-teammates steps nervy to verify that Lance jazzman intoxicated during his cycling career, his lawyer, Mark Fabiani, is making an inexorable defense. Unfortunately for the Internet-viewing public, he is doing so on his aesthetically unattractive website.

It could be worse, but … guh. Big, bracketed country letters ordered on crowning of a sound polka-dot background. My eyes hurt. This is how digit place ends:

For more information, gratify go to http://www.Facts4Lance.com.

That site is classic,

Clearly they are laughing at the haters, how much the haters have been sucked in to a frenzy about that site.

Amazing how many haters are logging in to it every few minutes to feed their hate.

Laughing!!!!!

Its classic!!!!

STATEMENT OF MARK FABIANI Counsel to Lance Armstrong

22 May

"In its unpardonable zeal to smear Lance Armstrong, CBS has also attacked the reputation of George Hincapie. We are confident that the statements attributed to Hincapie are inaccurate and that the reports of his testimony are unreliable...." etc

Okaaay... :confused::rolleyes:

I assume the feds are taking copies of the site in case it vanishes like the mysterious radioshack/landis emails. :D

My favorite is the Landis collaborated with 60 minutes link. As if posting on twitter under an anonymous name is something Armstrong doesn't do for one. And for two SO What's your point 60 minutes talked to FL ?

Clinton Fabiani fail
Gore Fabiani fail
Armstrong Fabiani fail
Public defenders office Detroit Fabiani fail

Ha ha, the "Wasted taxpayer $$$" link goes to a bunch of facts about baseball player Barry Bonds. Um, relevant how?

As a taxpayer, I would actually pay more taxes to watch the feds take down this scumbag fraud.

You know the Lance camp has an extremely weak case when their only defense is smearing the witnesses "not credible", appealing to taxpayers, trying to draw a parallel to a completely unrelated case with circumstance so different (Barry bonds didn't use millions from the U.S. government to fund his doping practices), and the same, tired, lame, irrelevant "I never tested positive excuse". I don't think anyone is disputing the "never tested positive" line (except for EPO in 1999 and cortisone), but testing positive means nothing.

I've never tested positive for milk, but I've drank it before.

Is this the same site that predicted the end of the world yesterday?

Wishfull thinking, perhaps. But, the CBS show is still scheduled for later today.

Dave.
