One interesting thing Hein says in the interview is ( in response to why the UCI accepted LA's donations back then) that the UCI continues to fight doping using donations from the (pro-)cycling teams.
He says he finds this "very legitimate".

It's not a voluntary 'donation', though, it's a condition of their licence. 'Charge' would be a better word.

You're probably right. However, if I cared what people thought when coming to the link, it would be pretty easy to throw up a temp page stating something relevant about the status of the site 'till I got my WP issues sorted. 1/2 an hour of work.

The LA camp gets the press and PR they want on a given topic and then abandon their position later, not bothering to do much work covering their tracks. If anyone calls them on it they call the person "obsessed", "axe grinder", "bitter" or some other nonsense for simple follow up and put them on the blacklist.

I'd not be shocked if they just abandon the URL. It would fit the pattern.

Even if they do, that's nothing to do with McQuaid. He's not a medical expert, he can't interpret them. That's what people like Ashenden are for.

No - repressing Biological Passports of riders that the medical experts said should be sanctioned.

The International Cycling Union (UCI) issued a press release today stating that it is still in the process of investigating two riders who showed abnormal blood passport values.

Sometimes a lot of what you read on this forum is accurate.

There's been lots of articles, naturally, but has Lance made any on-the-record or off-the-record comment about Hamilton / Hincapie ? Or is he just hiding behind his weasel lawyer?
