Not what the article says. They say that a source close to the negotiations claims that they are signing up for 2 more years. Doesn't say RS but all three sponsors.

More spin, methinks. TRS may continue, but I'll be surprised if RS themselves are as prominent a sponsor without LA.

No bro ......I think it did say that RS was in for a COUPLE more years. ....

]Is anyone else here concerned about Lance exploding?[/B]

His anger could generate very high internal internal pressures in which case his extraordinary athleticisim and enhanced musculature become particularly dangerous. Because like a pipe bomb, the explosive yield depends on the bursting strength of the container.

I hope he has purchased some Duct.... Tape!

This thread seriously needs to get shut down until the indictments are handed down.

It's nothing but useless drivel at this point.

Nice that you added to the discussion here. *** edited by mod **

This video has been viewed about 400 times. From episode 1 - 5 the total amount of views have been a waste of YOUTUBE bandwidth. Episode 1 is around 8,000 then it falls off allot for the next episodes. IF these are so Funny then why have they not gone viral? I guess no one gives a rats azzzzz. I do like the "Shut the F Up Levi" line. It has some serious sticking power.

Agreed.
Lance-fanboys like D-Queued and Berzin..probably paid by Fabiani to stop us discussing the truth.

you're new here, but i can assure you: D-Queued is not a fanboy

Say wha???!

 the jig's up.

Most lucrative scam ever.

Post truth about Armstong by night, collect payments from Lance for extending the lie with half-baked, 'I never tested positive' crap by day. Rinse. Repeat.

He would be the perfect mark. And I could be rich beyond my wildest dreams.

Dave.

just line up for a spot in the $$ brigade. Armstrong's adding to his troops at an alarming rate...hop on board!

At the grocery store I see Runner Magazine with two cover editions, one I recognize:

Lance Armstrong-Runner, Father, Cancer Foundation creator (or close). Are those the three things foremost on your mind when that Certain Mr. Lance Armstrong makes a magazine cover? His publicist's worked overtime to get that gig.

It is pretty amazing given how much negative news continues to come forward, that he can still pull this off. We will just have to wait to see how this plays out with JN and the Feds. But something tells me that even if LA goes down hard and is in jail, there will still be companies that pay him to pimp their products.

First line of the article says “Armstrong agreed to be interviewed as long as we didn’t ask any questions in relation to the on-going investigation into alleged drug use”.

Have to say he’s scraping the bottom of the barrel on this one. In the glory days he was talking with Vanity Fair, GQ and Time. Now he can only hawk his lies on Runners World magazine???

He’s shot. He can’t be interviewed by anyone anymore. The first question for any respectable journalist is – “Did you use drugs?” – and we know he can’t answer that question.

Runners World probably won’t gain a lot from this interview so I do wonder why they even bothered.

The cover emphasis on his Father credentials?!!! What comes next-his sudden embracing of religion? You have to wonder if his organization paid Runner's World for the cover?

Wasn't Lance married to one of the Editors at Runners World?
Not too much Lance could tell her that she does not already know lol.

And I would think she would also agree to not discuss issues in relation to the on-going investigation into alleged drug use.

hog's point was more that sorry lance has to make do with interviews in magazines such as runners world. he's no longer a big fish.

Searched the Internet for images of "Runner's World". If it's the same magazine Oldman referred to, it sounds like a pre-arranged advertisement. The images I found show a trend which is different to what you all are describing. It's the PR machine.

oh and Runner's World is a Rodale magazine, like Bicycling.

Thanks. From the interview:

Yeah, yeah. I refuse to let it bother me. The press has jumped on it, but have I ever walked down the street and felt it? No. Have I ever stepped in front of an audience of a thousand people and felt it? No. Have I ever walked into a Starbucks and felt it? No. Ever been on a bike ride and felt it? Never. If I didn't pick up and read the paper, I'd never know. It has absolutely zero impact on what we do on a daily basis.

You taunted Novitzky, you revealed a guy’s email address to the world, you hassled Tyler, you have hired half a dozen of the world’s most expensive lawyers. But it doesn’t bother you at all. It has zero impact on your life. Lance, do you even know when you’re lying any more? Has it really become that automatic with you?

I particularly like this spoon-fed synopsis of his legal challenges:

Armstrong's competitive streak, however, is still on display in his ongoing defense against the allegations that he used performance-enhancing drugs to achieve some of his victories riding with the U.S. Postal Service team, from 1998 to 2004 (despite never having tested positive). But his Ahab, federal investigator Jeff Novitzky, was dealt a serious blow when his case, tied to PEDs, against former San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds resulted in a single obstruction-of-justice conviction. Most neutral observers see the case as a failure on the government's part.

He won't discuss his legal issues but he will provide his PR version of the situation.
