(Also I'm assuming that's bad wording on your part, since 6:12 is the time the last rider starts)

Because the first one starts at 5.30, and there are 28 riders. It's not that hardauscyclefan94 said:why would the last rider start at 6:12pm in the tt?![]()

In Spain the dinner is at 22:00, not before...auscyclefan94 said:Seems late to me. People have dinner and are getting home to settle down for the night. On the flip side, people could come from work to watch the riders race therefore bigger crowds would watch.
This is Spain. Most people have dinner at 9-10 pm, which is also when the sun sets this time of the year.auscyclefan94 said:Seems late to me. So not impressed. The Ballarat region has dry hot Summers and cool wet Winters. The average maximum January (Summer in the Southern hemisphere) temperature is 24.9 °C, though there are usually several days each summer where the temperature exceeds 35 °C.

And what I'm saying is that, overall, much of Spain is hotter than Ballarat. 40ºC is pretty normal in summer. Avoiding those peak temperatures on a road race is harder, but ITTs take a lot less time, so why would you go out of your way to schedule them at the hottest time of the day?auscyclefan94 said:What I am saying is it can get pretty high. Nationals in the past have been over 40oC in Ballarat.
auscyclefan94 said:well if you came down to ballarat when the nationals are on, i'm telling you know that it would get hotter than it would be in Spain.

Tuarts said:Lmao. Coming over from the West and it was almost like winter! I think the day I got there was 30 and it went down to about 24.
I imagine that parts of Spain can easily exceed 30+ in summer, so stop being so pretentious.

This isn't about bragging rights, this is about proving ACF wrong. I'm sure that's something you can get behind.boomcie said:Just went outside and checked the temperature for a quick moment: 49° Celcius. Not so hot for this time of year. I live in the hottest and most impressive location in the world.
