I thought Koldo Fernandez was their cobbles guy, and he had a good ride at Gent(of course that's not P-R) but seriously have they ever even been in the top 20 at Roubaix?

i havnt even seen one of em in the pelaton.. :D

Boonen is impressive today, but he has that damn Pozzato in his wheel again, following his every move but never willing to take over. He already lost the Ronde that way, why do it again today?

Yeah, but that tactic might actually work today, with Boonen having no Chavanel or Devolder to send up the road. No guarantee Boonen wins the sprint against Hushovd and Pozzato considering how many efforts he's put in.

I actually have no idea jaylew, I was just making a joke about Euskatel being in the cobbled classics, and expecting anything of them at all. Lafuente seemed like a good name as any to pull out of nowhere... I bow to your depth of knowledge of bike racing if you know Euskatel's cobbled specialist.

tom in the poo?

have they got the sense to try and push on and leave him?

Ok, it's over for anyone but these 6 guys w/ ~20k to go. Flecha, Boonen, Van Summeren, Pozzato, Hushovd, Hoste.

Who wins? Who you rooting for at this point?

Me, I'm still rooting for Flecha, of course. After that I'd want Pozzato or Hushovd.

If I had to put money on it though, I'd go Pozzato. Flecha and is going to have to a go at some point. Also gotta figure Van Summeren will attack at some point so Hoste can sit on.
