Ahhhh - the old "rear brake adjustment" trick. The rear brake ALWAYS comes out of alignment after a crash, n'est-ce pas?

And, of course, you need to have it adjusted JUST RIGHT--and that takes time......

boy o boy menchov struggles to stay on his bike...
Rabobanks tour gets worse every day !!

Considering that a) He crashes and cant descend well at all and b) anytime there is a wind split or a split in the group that to make it requires just being a little bit attentive and he always misses it, It truly amazes me that he has been able to win a Giro and 2 Vueltas. Must have some ungodly wwattage he can produce.

Chris Bevan on BBC's live text commented "Menchov has been descending in this year's Tour like an elephant on roller skates and he is quickly tasting tarmac again"

It was great watching Menchov climb in the Giro, with his mouth closed. Miraculous. :)

*Think his secret is Austrian "chicken" legs. Unfortunately the fried chicken franchise just closed (summer hours).

If I were Wiggins, I would be requesting a different nickname than Wiggo. Compared to The Killer, The Cobra, and The Falcon, Wiggo comes up a little short.

and if it wasn't bad enough for Menchov, from cyclingnews

15:20 CEST
Menchov had a bit of help getting back up to the group...the mechanic held onto his bike and 'inspected' his brakes while the car zoomed along. After about 30 seconds of that he swung away. Shortly afterwards, he picked the wrong line around some traffic furniture and had to hop (at high speed) up onto a traffic island...looked risky. Anyway, he's back up in the group, fine expect for a dirty jersey. He's got a bit of blood on his left leg but nothing major.

Solution to take of Wiggo and its really easy actually

Astana sends Kloden on a attack on the Romme, Wiggo and Schleck will have to chase to protect their podium position because of the class of TT rider he is, COntador and Lance (If they can) just sit on the wheels until they catch Kloden and then Contador unleashes another attack to where they won't be able to respond.
