Welcome to the next many tour's. Contdádor is a motorcycle and can sit with anyone, anywhere - if not beat them.

It's not about that. It wasn't boring because of his dominance - he would have won on any of the courses designed in the last thirty years. This course, however, made it far worse.

A little excitement on Verbier stage.

A little more on Col Du Columbiere stage.

Nothing on the rest.

Horrible.

I say it was interesting to follow the Schleck brothers's tactics. Haven't seen such great riding in quite some time. But ultimately, the stage disappointed.

Maybe the whiners could have a Fantasy Tour where everything goes just perfect. Perhaps if Michael Jackson were still alive he could arrange it.

I've never seen a group whine so much.

I've never seen someone whine so much about other people.

I think Andy and Contador could have bridged up, but when Andy saw Franck didn't have the legs, he figured he didn't need to bother. Disappointing slightly that you couldn't see one of those top 4 take the stage win. But, great ride by Lance to stay in 3rd, and unbelievable work by Wiggins to stay with them for so long. Also impressed that VDV hung in there.

can you imagine if LA took 1st place? These guys would commit suicide.:D

The best part is, the only way Armstrong gets first in anything in this tour is if you "imagine" it.

LOL, well my bad, I just picked it at random cause there were so many. ;)

Ahhh... a common mistake. I throw a few decoy posts out there for these purposes.

& nibali was with them, and if he tried to bridge, he would have dragged nibali with him. and put nibali above frank.

It's a hard thing to not notice. Nearly every 10th post is someone complaining about the stages and how they are boring, uninteresting, course director is an idiot, the wind sucks, blah, blah, blah.

Well... it's not like those are all valid points for complaint!

It's and adrenaline sport for the deer!

I mean, I don't have anything against deer hunting, I just don't get where it fits into their "Don't be surprised if someone doesn't follow the script" commercial. BTW, that is one annoying commercial even without the deer.

The wind is a valid point for complaint on this stage? Seriously?

Yeah, it held attacks at bay, but it's the weather.

We should all stop telling the truth so we don't upset you? Maybe you should grow up and stop getting upset over other people's opinions.

See, in my world, 'real cycling fans' would be talking about the remarkable and totally unexpected achievements of Martin and Garate instead of complaining about the fact that the race was boring because their hate object didn't lose time like they hoped.

Negativity rules here.

I'm gutted for Tony Martin because I really like the boy, but obviously also delighted about this Rabo win because man, did they ever need a break from somewhere. Garate however, is no personal favorite of mine.

Big props also to Schleklet, who did what he could given the tactical constraints of that group, and the relative weakness of Frank. Wiggins and Nibali could only follow while Kloden fell on his sword, as usual.

Conclusion: the top three are all occupying the places they have earned.

There are plenty of people in the U.S. that dont consider cycling a sport. They consider it an activity. Same with nascar and golf.
These people have obviously never tried to climb even the smallest of hills on a bike.

And nearly every one of your posts is you complaining about someone else. I guess the "Irony Delete" key doesn't work on our computer.

Take it easy on them. This isn't exactly the result the haters wanted. It's got to be very depressing for them. They are turning their hate towards others now. Poor Bambi.

Too bad for Pellizotti, he was one of the major entertainer of this Tour but couldn't get any stage no matter how hard he tried.

Andy could have gone for it, he should have left his brother at some point, Franck couldn't follow, clear and simple.
