Yeah, I'm looking at the SBS coverage at the moment and the first 1-2 k's are very narrow, as in barely a meter wide, which means that none of the teams are gathering much rhytum early.

Ballan has also fallen on that very same corner!

Amazing, Menchov already on his ***.

The course is very narrow in parts, more suited to an individual tt - the road surface is also less than ideal in several parts - very difficult to build up or maintain rhythm there - this from the Dutch commentators who rode the stage themselves this morning.

He went down in the first corner (as did Ballan for Lampre).

oh we are so terrible...I like frank I honestly do, he is a lovely lad, but can't seem to keep his **** off the road...hopefully nothing serious for anyone who falls today!
