My pick is Kirchen, provided he's on form (which is a question mark)

The only guys who will go out the back are the pure sprinters like Cav, Ciolek and Farrar.

Ciolek is a much better climber than any other sprinter in the pro peloton. Not even Bennati or Davis can compare

You are not making a strong point there Columbiafan/BHF fan (yes, I know you)

In the second result Hushovd is beating Ciolek...

To be fair, Ciolek was the leadout man for Hushovd that day...and he still finished third

Incorrect. The stage got under way just before 13:00. From the official site -

13:11 The peloton is at the 12 km mark and it's still one group.

The winds are less than yesterday; it's dry at the start but raining in Barcelona.

That was to show he is capable of finishing close or even winning in this stage

Are you Ruben of NCL?

I'm a bit surprised that Moncoutie didn't go the KOM points considering that he stated that he was going for that jersey. Does anyone here think he was just foxing when he said that, or is he just not worrying about the minor hills?

I suspect that he's not bothered about the three points from a Cat. 4. I'm counting on him for some action tomorrow, for sure.

Today's first three points went to Botcharov. Various minor escape attempts have so far not succeeded.

What, you can't handle being corrected on a matter of verifiable fact? Your response would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic. Your second sentence in particular exposes you for what you are. Perceptive readers will draw their own conclusions.:D

Yes, he is the world's 15th best Mountain Biker

(I want to see someone catch that reference to this very site :D)
Yeah, two years in a row I belonged to the 20 world bests mountain bikers, according to the readers of cyclingnews.

Sadly, I have never touched an MTB in an official race. So you can guess my awesome talent.

Dutch tv reporting that the first hour saw 46kph!

Pedro Delgado says that as soon as these roads get wet they will be "treacherous" since it hasn't rained for months - till today.
