Oh c'mon ... this is as much of homer course for Cav as one can get !

Nothing really wrong with it either ...

Nothing that any other country would not do though , cuz how many gold medals is GB going to win anyways ? Not many ! Events like this don't have to be a "fair" test .... that's the privilege of being awarded the games ... you can make them to suit your riders. And when you have a Cav on your home team... you'd be stupid NOT to make a homer course for him !!
But he already got a tailor-made WC, and Wiggins just got a tailor-made TdF. And when you hear the UCI keep babbling about how great for the sport all of this is, you gotta wonder.

Tailor-made courses may be statistically normal, but they're an aberration.

How are the Iranians doing?

I saw 1.of them about 30s behind the peloton every lap. And he was always keeping the gap that low. Haven't seen him last 2 though so i guess he caught up or dropped out.

Lol wut.

The Olympic committee decided it was in no one's interest to show km and time and other info on TV?

Were they afraid that team leaders would keep each other informed by watching TV?

it is just poor coverage, isn't it?
I thought it is showed in BeiJing

On what? Box hill circuits are almost done. If it really is mostly flat to the finish, there's nothing to attack from. It's a motorpace all the way to the finish.

Cancellara working with Boonen and EBH in the last 3k can be very hard to reel in for a tired bunch. They must attack close to the finish and see how long they can go anaerobic.

Well yes ... I don't prefer this either. But, it's sort of like watching a train wreck in the making. You don't want to watch but you can't stop watching !!!

It doesn't look like there's anything to provide it. This is one of the little factors that make ASO's productions so good. On top of that, they need the production infrastructure to overlay it on the image. It doesn't look like they have that either.

I would be surprised to see EBH able to join a move like that

Or else he started his sprint 59.9kms to early.
Somehow, I think it's this.

As opposed to smart man Cancellara who will probably rely on his sprint like in Copenhagen. ;)

Eisel and Urán sicken me
Screw Olympic spirit, apparently. They're riding for Sky.

I mean I don't give a toss about the olympics and this disgusts even me. Those two should go hang their heads in a hole.

That would be nice, but being realistic here... This season Wiggins can simply sustain more power than any of these guys. So, naturally, he will reel them back.

Not much we can do about it. It's just numbers.

Sky have managed to ride 2/3 of the peloton off their wheel with 4 men taken leads at the front, without Cavendish ever out of the top 10. lol. how come I feel that there could be a signficant national embarressment coming for GB?
