Kluge can take it all the way, great ride in the points race, really showed the 6-day legs to the young guys, just too bad Iljo, or Marvulli weren't there
but it was the correct call, he shut the door just after the other rider was already in the lane, 2 sec earlier (or if the move was outside the 200 meter line) it would have been fine, timing, just like the GB girls team sprintJimmyFingers said:terrible call relegating the Venezuelan
From about the age of 11 she suffered from alopecia (i.e. hair loss). Must have been pretty tough esp. for a girl.spalco said:Wow, British TP women with a show of total domination as well, incredible.
eta: what the ****'s going on with the one woman's hair cut? She looks like she's doing chemotherapy.
Looked like his red light did not go off so he had no idea.spalco said:Funny race, but lots of confusion.
How many points does Choi get, what about who just got eliminated two rounds ago?
Is simply refusing to leave the race allowed here or what?![]()
It looked that way. As they got to the last 5 it was clear that he had nothing left in his legs. And they had also had the points race as well just a bit earlier. Clancy's worst events tend to be the longer endurance events.Ferminal said:Not sure what Clancy's deal was, kept drifting off only to bury himself in the final 200m, running on fumes?

It is a tactic that Laura Trott has used in her last few Omniums. Reap the benefit of the slipstream and then sprint just enough to avoid being eliminated.
Hansen is normally pretty strong in the second day so look for him to do well.
Be interesting to see if anyone tries to go from the gun against Baugé. He really suffered after the race when Kenny did that.3wheeler said:Mr Bauge has got to be a little Concerned now that Kenny has out Qualified Him.

A real shame the top countries can only field one rider though.
You have a point but I don't remember that happening or hearing about it in any sprint (That's not too say it hasn't happened or wouldn't happen).King Of The Wolds said:Your first point demonstrates why the second is, maybe, actually not such a bad idea. You could, for example, have Hoy softening up Bauge for a final against Kenny, which wouldn't really feel right in a purely individual event.

The lap he took on his own in the scratch race (esp. after that crash) was very impressive. Well deserved.Magnus said:Yaaaay!
Awesome ride by Lasse.
Impressive comeback in the scratch and then personal record in the 1k.
