I watched the swimming...being 5 seconds ahead of the WR when you are in the back end of 400m race, calling out already busted athletes and professing to Australia and the world your one of the good guys......Watching some of the other qualifying races the womens 4x 100 seemed least suspicious...

Definitely thinking that some countries backed off the dope while others just plowed on, come on Australia won a bronze medal in archery - beating the chinese FFS...lol
The Aussies were embarrassed in the pool in 2008 and 2012, they're out for blood these games. They're leaving nothing to chance, just look at the shoulders on those Campbell sisters!

I hope the British hurry up and start injecting.
We've got zero medals so far, whereas Australia has 3 including 2 Golds.

They are making us look like doping amateurs.

OMD. Seriously? ROC = Russian Olympic Committee, who put the names of athletes in front of the IFs. (Rio organising committee would be ROCOG.)

Seppelt and ARD must be scrambling now. No medals for Germany, yet. Russia already at 5, and they aren't even in the top 3, lol!

Australia crushing it, already. The Brits must not like that either, though I think their stronger sports/events come a little later.

Wow! The women's 4 x 100m IM just got demolished by nearly 2 full seconds. Katinka Hosszu from Hungary just got her first medal in four games. This was a controversial record to start with as well, being held by Ye Shiwen...

Red flags big time. Her partner (husband) has the requisite d-bag juiced-up look too. Save her sample, there's no way she's clean.

I can't recall the exact wording but one of the CBC commentators made a brief comment about Hosszu and doping suspicions...then she annihilated the world record with an absurd margin of victory.

After the race they showed a brief picture of her husband and I have to confess, my reaction was 'hooo boy.' As a fan of sport I'd love to believe she is clean, but it's a little tough. Her husband for me is also one of the major issues.

Wow a female russian swimmer busted and sanctioned twice for doping won her appeal - cause she wasn't supposed to be competing and of course wins the race she is in....wow..

Doe's anyone have any stats on the amount of positives in swimming? Cause I reckon it has to be more than cycling....

Peaty destroys it. Even the *** English commentators were sounding a wee bit sheepish. Clear water etc, never seen that before in the 100m...will be nice to hear Rule Brittiania though for the 1st time...

He's 21 so engine was always there, no need to lose the fat. He's body is massive at such a young age.

We'll wait to see what the relay teams do in terms of times.

Which aids the suspicions. Ledecky too.

Yep, he is cut deep.

The US men (albeit predictably) crushed that relay. Australia, France, Russia, no chance. And if the Russians are 'state sponsored,' and have a good history in swimming (not as long or decorated as the US or Australia, but not bad) and specifically in freestyle events, why couldn't they at least get a medal? I thought doping on a large scale was supposed to reap benefits!
