You mean the guys who failed to bleed despite being in a pool of blood, remaining consious looking bored for ~4-5 minutes after the blast? That looks like a known army amputee? With all the empty red liquid bottled spread over the scene?
Did you see the guy with his clothes ripped to strips from the nail in the bomb? Not a drop of blood on him.
I am pretty sure a kid died in the 2nd blast, but in the 1st blast the lady carried off as dead was basically straightening her hair before acting dead. Then all the guys in hoodies and sunglasses... The guy who was taped emptying a bag of dust over a victim on the ground.
The people getting hurt in the blasts are not the point. The point is who actually did it, what the timing of the event kept out of the newspapers (Obama and Bush to be indignet, gold/silver paper robbery of epic scale minutes before the bombs) and what it was used to create (martial law all over, no more liberties in the land of the free).

You meant your comment well, but are utterly uninformed. Read up on what I just listed above, and be amazed. While I am strong opposer to letting bladers run among those handicapped to still have legs to run on, please, Boston is of a different order of magnitude for injustice and sick, sick society.

Sky News were raving this week how they had got hold of the police photos of the interior of the house with blood stains and all.

The length of time between alleged murder and trial and the constant stream of silly and sensational stories in the press displays both the weaknesses of the South African criminal justice system and how easy it is for a highly competent and well-paid defence team to introduce all sorts of diversionary and distracting tactics and issues to keep their client off the hook.

Looking all very O.J. Simpson-ish so far. All we need now is a 'compromise' appointment of a weak judge eager not to blot his copybook and Pistorius will walk. I think it is looking like that.

Oscar due back in court tomorrow:

State prosecutors say they expect police investigations into the matter to continue until August, and seasoned criminal law experts have suggested that the trial itself is unlikely to begin before the end of the year, with a referral to the province's High Court likely.

Oscar himself is reported to have found religion:

Pistorius' aunt Lois told the Guardian that, since that incident, Oscar has remained at home, leaving only to go to church regularly. "At home he's reading the Bible a lot," she explained. "If you've got a purpose in life and you believe in God, it gives you a reason to understand things when they're not going smoothly because you rely on God who is everlasting and always there. Humans make mistakes. None of us is perfect."

Indeed - many apologies Blackcat - thought it would have been obvious, but obviously only to me...

I'll be very surprised if this entire shamozzle doesn't play out in a similar fashion to OJ's case. Don't get me wrong, I'd be very happy if I were proven incorrect.

I saw a blurb this morning in the WSJ.......barely a paragraph just tiny..

Pistorius trial delayed until AUGUST 21 by request of the prosecution. They are wishing more time for the police investigation to gather everything possible.
:confused:

This somehow reeks to me of intervention by a wealthy celeb...
the @sshole is probably out there having a pretty normal life.
..oh and he has "been reading the Bible a lot" I think I read a couple of days ago....

So he's getting charged with premeditated murder and reckless use of a firearm? I know nothing about the legal system, he sounds like the second charge is something they will sentence him with if his lawyers convince the jury of the intruder story, like a fallback option.

Also will any knew evidence be presented at this indictment?

If you read the link, it says that the reckless use of a firearm was in two other incidents.

Actually, these charges might help his case. We've all been saying that no one could be stupid and trigger-happy enough to mistakenly shoot his GF. But he is pretty stupid and trigger-happy.

In which world is being naturally trigger happy, aimed at a human, a favoring inclination towards lower sentencing? If there would be 2 people in a room who may have fired a gun, obviously the trigger happy one looks worse. How can you look better when you were along in the room with the gun and you admit before anyone asks?
Just admitting to being an arrogant homicidal POS doesn't excuse. Life in jail, straight up. Request by defendant for death penalty denied. Live long and feel horrible.
