over here, we have to wait for sunset in about 3 hours to hopefully watch the rest of it.

poor me, if I want to watch the eclipse lying in bed I have to move all the way to the other side of the bed.

It's really clear and should look great setting over the ocean. I have my camera on the tripod. I really should have read the manual for camera. I have no idea how to set things manually. so it's point and shoot, take lots of pics and hope 1 turns out well

a new phone!

my old $10USD phone. I pay $20USD every 3 months for the service but only use $4-5. I had a balance big enough to pay for tthe new phone. I'll pick it up at Christmas when I go north.

The door saga is drawing to an end. some 1/8" plywood, wood putty, nails and sandpaper have come to the rescue.

The backside I will live with. It looks better in person. Do I let the new wood age naturally or "age" it myself with some dirt, ashes, and water?

The blinds will be up this week. The new heater on high got both rooms up to 70F from 61F in a hour night last.

My 3 windows measured 71" in width. Why did I buy blinds 72" in width. I measured them myself. Made 47 8x10 pictures with circles and arrows. And still bought the wrong thing.

I seriously considered buy another system and mounting it in the kitchen. Costco had a sale and it was only $249 for the system with 4 cameras and a 500GB DVR but I bought the last one

I plan on streaming sometime after the new year. If I have any money left

I went to purchase a sofa, love seat and chair that I liked And was on sale $300 off the set and with a coffee table would have come to $435. So I went to pay and they wouldn't take my debit card because it was not from a mexican bank. Being prepared I just happened to have $500 cash in the car. Imagine my surprise when they told me they only accept pesos. I have never been anywhere that would not accept dollars. I hope they are still on sale today.
