Did TJ stop on the way to update his blog?
4 minutes in 4kms is a pretty big blow up!

Vino now at 10". Definitely one of a very few who can challenge the clockwork German.

Vino wins - peleton 6 sec behind

That is starting to be his mo, attack on the descent. L-B-L, Revel last year, this stage, he attacks close to the top of a shorter climb, but does his main damage on the descent and powers away to stay away

*shrugs*
He's out of contention for the GC and he had already done what he could to win the stage. I don't see why he wouldn't take it easy.

Good to see Paul Martens in third today. Finding his form just in time for the Ardennes classics.
This was the second easiest stage though (friday is the easiest).

Don't jump conclusions yet

yeah, he is a really strong rider. He had some knee problems, so I don't know if he really gets fit for this hard and long races. He won't be in top shape. That's a shame, because he showed his real power at the WC last year, were he could ride for his own.

I think it's fairly safe to say that this is much better than he's been for the past weeks. You've watched the stage, haven't you? That was a tough final.

Thanks.

The group was bigger than expected, but at least I tipped the winner finally.

Yea, Vino!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be smiling all day at this result. FANTASTIC!

And yesterday the commentators were saying he doesn't have good fitness at this time of year. Ho-hum!

What was insane was that he was a replacement rider at the worlds... seriously...? He is probably their most talented one day racer.
