What was insane was that he was a replacement rider at the worlds... seriously...? He is probably their most talented one day racer.
That was because at that time he was also returning from injury, not having raced for a few months.

You forgot the most important one!

15. Lars Petter Nordhaug

Steve Cummings is more important. ;)
Or Uran Uran depending on where you come from I suppose.

The one thing the eurosport guys got right was to commend the race organizers for the last few routes. Sure, the riders make the race, but these stages show what little changes can be made to excite the peloton.

I'm also I was able to get on to catch the action for the finish, and get over to watch the last 1k of the Scheldeprijs all in about 10 minutes. If that kind of convenience doesn't raise cycling's popularity, I don't know what will...

I think it's fairly safe to say that this is much better than he's been for the past weeks. You've watched the stage, haven't you? That was a tough final.
I saw the final and the stage, the last small climb was though, but the group was still big nonetheless.

So I still think it's too early to tell.

Oh, and a pet peeve of mine: learn to spell the word "tough", please.

fantastic stage.what a ride by duarte, but he needs an all up-hill finish.again, his attacking style was delicious.
vino, monster ride, looking good for the ardennes but why not, maybe he can pull a big surprise in the ITT.by the way he said that he targeted at first the tomorrow's stage so i expect he will do well.

Vino will get his **** kicked on tomorrow's stage. His climbing simply isn't good enough.

Let's totally ignore a triple world champion and triple M-SR winner

Unless you're talking about the Dutch squad instead of Rabo. But then there's still Gesink.

He is talking about GERMANY, not Rabobank.

Try to read.

And the worlds are raced with national teams, you forgot that as well ;)

No second sentence. Just found it weird you were using "their" as I totally forgot he was German and thought he was Dutchie.

Germany's biggest one day race talent right now seems to be Degenkolb by the way.

Or Gerald Ciolek

Vino can't stay with Klödi, heck, he can't even stay with the first 10 probably.

He is just a guy who can attack furiously in false flat and downhills after each hill. On hills he can hold his own but not more than that. And on real climbs.. well. No.

It can win him bigger things than Klöden ever will win. Vino in top form can hold his own in the mountains. You seem to forget he's what 37 years old already?

Haha. How about without some other dude's blood?

So? That was not the point now was it?

Again you seem to misunderstand the topic. Wow.

Vino is 37 years old, if you still expect him to climb with the best then you're clueless.

That and Vino won a GT and Klöden never will.

Doping has lot to do with it. It's a pattern to be seen with a lot of riders of that era.

Ofcourse, the age factor makes it worse.
