That was a bit evil by Roglic. Should have let Mader take that unless he got attacked.

Thanks!
Hopefully they attack from 50km out like contador few years ago tomorrow or you keen for another sprint? Haha
He doesn't have the boat anchor that is Sepp Kuss with him here.Roglic lost last year's tour, by not putting the nail in the coffin when he had the chance. I think that experience has made him more brutal like we see today!
I know the stage wasn’t tough enough but anyone getting bored with these 750m sprints ?
While I really would have wished Mader won the stage, in defense of Roglic: if he doesn't do that sprint and e.g. Schachmann does the sprint and overtakes Mader, Roglic looses the bonus seconds and the stage to a direct rival. Better be safe than sorry.
Why, what did they doLet's hope the other teams will make life really tough and unpleasant for Jumbo-Visma the next couple of months.
Laurent Jalabert likes thisWhat a w****r. He's won the race, surely he could have let a lower tier rider have a bit of personal glory. I know there's generally no gifts in cycling but that was like kicking him in the nuts on the way past. Just my personal opinion before folk get all defensive.
Who’s going to do that? This is the new blueprint. Skineos should’ve copyrighted and patented the formula (even though they lifted it straight from the Bruyneel Mtn strategy). Now RaboJumbo has built the ultimate machine. Next will be Quik Step or UAE with all these long term contracts and buying up the talent.Let's hope the other teams will make life really tough and unpleasant for Jumbo-Visma the next couple of months.
Yeah that would fly well with the team and the sponsorWhat a w****r. He's won the race, surely he could have let a lower tier rider have a bit of personal glory. because they have their own goals, just because you cant be first doesnt mean you stop trying to get second...and of course you never know when the guy has a bad day/crashI don't blame Roglic for this. I just don't understand why other teams don't get fed up with working for him and actually changing their strategy to a less cooperative one...
Yep. The team worked. Nothing to blame on RoglicNo gifts. Team worked hard, they deserve the win if possible. Period.

It happens quite frequently in stage races. And there are a number of reasons to do so. And if you come across as a ***, it doesn't necessarily reflect well on your sponsor. Can't believe people actually expect a rider to gift the win to someone from another team..
