People aren't really cheering because he falls are they? And whether it is karma or not is up to the individual viewer to feel. If someone enjoys his misfortune, why can't people just let them have it?

Of course if the crashes were caused by another rider it's a brutal way to lose, but otherwise I think it's totally okay for people to enjoy seeing the strongest rider bottling it again.

Cycling is a brutal and demanding sport. I can't imagine enjoying riders getting hurt especially with recent emphasis on rider safety. It kind of tells a lot about what kind of person you are, enjoying the misfortune of others is just a sad viewpoint in life.

"Enjoying riders getting hurt" has nothing to do with it. People are enjoying the sporting outcome of the race, and you are projecting your own wish to demonize these people by vilifying them in an untruthful way.

I like these ethical dilemmas, interesting to debate them. just another reason why cycling isn't just about getting from A to B...

I see no problem with Roglic's actions yesterday; today, it's not clear cut for me. Jumbo should have had a plan to support their leader, especially on these roads. I'd have to go back and look at the circumstances of Roglic's first chute to see if it was rider error or something unforeseen...
