Would be funny if Jumbo lose Paris-Nice now to Pog with a few seconds time difference after this TTT where (at least I think) they probably could take more time with a better pacing strategy but they tried to get Van Hooydonck into yellow (which failed).

Whats wrong with Van Hoydonck now? If I was a tiny climber, there wouldnt be another guy Id like to have on my team more on the flat days

I don't understand lesser teams, they know that the overall is out of reach, they don't have talent to contest stages and all that's left is getting jersey time for the sponsors by getting in early breaks and winning the crumbs that are intermediate sprints..instead sprint bonus points are going to a stringy climber.. Is Pogocar really that good? Jumbo better hope not..

Always nice to see that the silly gimmick mickey-mouse procession that you boycotted had relatively little GC impact, should have just put a proper ITT. Tomorrow back to racing.

If nobody else bothers, at least he'll be second and the time gain for Pog will only be 2 seconds each sprint instead of 6.

Yeah, yesterday, the smarter tactic - rather than have Van Hooydonck try to take bonus seconds ahead of Pogacar - would probably have been for Vingegaard to just glue himself to Pogacar's wheel.

He pushed Matthews yesterday.

He also thinks it's normal to call other teams losers when they don't help Jumbo Visma - yk the team that has like 5 pre race favorites in every classic - catch an early break. And he's always been pretty arrogant, going back to his u23 days (when tbf he was a really good rider).

Will Vingegaard start to bother about intermediate seconds now if Pogi goes for them?

Breakaway stages the next 3 days - and I would not be surprised at all, to see Cort in the break tomorrow, wearing yellow ;)

I think it's more likely Pogacar will go for the bonus seconds on the final climb tomorrow (provided the break is caught).

Are you referring to the rule change for the TTT?

If so I completely disagree.

If the 4th man counted, UAE would have lost a lot more time today.

I liked this format, a bit less predictable and it's cool to see just lone riders sprinting to the line at the end. Great performance by Jumbo, as expected. But even better by EF and Magnus Cort.
