This but in reverse, with FDJ last, should be the starting order.
Seems a bit harsh that Cofidis, Alpecin and Lotto aren't even allowed to start. (RhD mode off)

While it's the time of the first rider across the line that counts tomorrow, riders still get the same time as the group they are in (down to a 1/100th of a second) for GC.

Last year the gap between the top 6 teams was 25 seconds. And the TTT was 6km longer (although a bit less hilly). So I am not expecting more than 30 seconds between the top GC teams (UAE, Quickstep, Ineos, Bora, Visma).

Based on this years TTs UAE with this lineup should be the favourites, closely followed by Quickstep and Ineos.

So, how much time will Remco gain against other GC riders tomorrow. Let's make a poll:

A) More than 1min
B) More than 2min
C) More than 3min
D) 48 seconds
It's a TTT, not an ITT.

SQS, Bora, UAE, Ineos then Lidl and Visma could all be within 30-40 seconds of each other.

Based on this years TTs UAE with this lineup should be the favourites, closely followed by Quickstep and Ineos.
I think it's too close to call tbh to speak of favourites.

Who is going to finish the race for UAE. Will they arrive with 3-4 guys? I expect a solo from Remco on the last kilometer. Would be suprised if Bora has more than Roglic/Vlasov left.

Vlasov should definitely finish with Roglic, Evenepoel will be a tough man to get rid of in the last couple of stages and having someone high in GC would be of help. UAE is the most interesting team for the TTT, probably start attacking each other in the last few k.

I voted B, it seems the most realistic to me.
Lol, 48 seconds... give me a break, completely unrealistic. Who chose the poll options? What a fool...
B is all fine and dandy, but will he do it in a TT train or will he go alone because, you know, why not? Wait a minute… 🤔

I havent been following Vlasov very closely TBH - where does this bad teammate meme come from? Just Uijtdebroeks in Vuelta or something else as well?

Team GC decides the order tomorrow.
it was still a bit pointless, though, as they already had a Top 4 starting position secured from yesterday. And even a "win" today (Israel took it) would not have moved them ahead of Jumbo.

How so? There are still 13 teams on time, so it's the stage count-back of the top-3 riders for each of the two stages, no?
