Team director from Greenedge said they're going for Howard again this stage.

Why the heck are they never going for Matthews? Are they trying to waste Matthews' talent even more than Rabobank did?!

Howard seems to have the better form at the moment, Matthews last good result was in the national champs (of course he hasn't been given the chance to get another good result). Definitely should be giving Matthews more chances, but Howard in his current form, might be the best bet for this race.

you did see yesterday's stage, didn't you? Matthews was sitting in the back while his teammates were working their *** off to bring Howard into a decent position for the sprint.

I wonder if someone will try something on that last climb... Just to make a test for tomorrow. Can't imagine successful attack with so much road to the finish. Just testing.

Boonen working hard last couple of days.
Wants to make up what he's lost in January and February.
It's more and more likely he''l be ready for the cobbles.

Yesterday's hero just talked to francetv:

respect!

They're on the climb now with Sky leading the peloton. Viviani was hanging on for dear life on the small climb a minute ago.

Edit: And just as I write that, Viviani gets dropped. Noone helping him apparently.

Double edit: Now one Cannondale rider is with Viviani.
