Someone asked about ski-jumping: even a ski jumper has to jump, extend his legs at a very precise moment just before he hits air. Altough they don't train as much as cyclists, it is more difficult to train ski jumping and you have to always have sharp legs. So even jumpers can have good "form".

I was thinking the same thing. They don't look very determined. Maybe they are trying to force Astana to chase--or contribute to the chase.

Though the gap has come down.

yeah i finally saw it. they probably were strpped on the last climb and were sifting thru the maze of wheels back to berto who was shown to stuff his cheeks with some sandwich 15 mins ago. carbs baby !

gonna be an interesting end to this stage. Boom looks well placed, I wonder if he plans to try or something, or rather defend if someone attacks.
