If I'm reading it right, it's not as awesome as Contador's attack back in 2007 Paris Nice considering it came near the end of a 130km stage and he clocked a faster time than all the TTers...

yes but in pro cycling it happens pretty often that some go as fast in an itt as after 200 km in the legs. it's not unusual
plus he had some really good drafting at huge speed for like 3 minutes
and that was one of the strongest versions of contador like ever

Do you also have the times in Chieti? The new run-in should make it harder, so I'd expect them to be a little slower, but then again they were almost flying today

In 2007, they were climbing col d'eze from the other side, that side is shorter but steeper, you have to add this in your records
