I would like a WVA win but if it is because of that tire system it will be a bit of an asterisk win (I know its legal, but it feels a bit too much like were jn formula 1), which would be a shame because he is good enough to win without it, tho I get it does increase his chances.
I don't love it either, but I'm also not a fan of remote shifting, either. I like bikes to be fully mechanical, without having to need batteries to function.

I had a dream that Mads Pedersen won this race. Which means he won't win because my dreams never come true.
I had a dream before Dwars door Vlaanderen that Jumbo would launch a massive attack, get away alone with 3 or 4 riders, with Wout winning the race. That wasn't all wrong at least.
A week ago I had a dream about Paris-Roubaix, but a very strange one. For some reason I was in the race myself, but running instead of riding a bike. Also, the race wasn't on cobbles but on gravel, and I saw Ganna disappear in front of me on a long uphill section. It got weirder after that.

My cheering hierarchy: Wout>Pogacar>Pederson>Ganna>anybody else>MVDP>Philipsen

My prediction: Exactly the same podium as last Sunday (Possibly exchange Wout for Pederson)

My 100 to 1: Brennan

Good idea the cheering hierarchy.

(Degenkolb)>Pogagar=van Aert>Ganna>Girmay>vdP>Pederson>someone who catches my eye for random reasons>anybody else.

Prediction: I have no clue.

I've just seen the betting on Ganna has been suspended on Skybet, has he withdrawn, does anyone know?

He's disappeared!

Also, the race wasn't on cobbles but on gravel, and I saw Ganna disappear in front of me on a long uphill section. It got weirder after that.

(Not sure where they found an uphill section. Ask kingjr's subconsciousness...

Hoping for another great race and may the best rider win.

I voted Pedersen but having watch the women's race yesterday I think Van Aert could have a good shot as Visma's tyre system seemed to have worked very well. Still, being Van Aert in Roubaix he will probably have some bad luck along the way.

Wet cobbles should be an advantage for Van der Poel but somehow I don't think he will be as strong as last year. Bad news for Ganna as he is not the best bike handler in the wet.

For Pogačar, I think a podium would already be a great result and my dark horse for the race is Küng.

There was a bit of talk about it earlier in the thread, yeah.

Sep Vanmarcke tested it for Belgian press and he gave it a 9/10. According to him, it slightly increases the risk of flat tires, though, and it takes a while to get pressure back up after the cobbles (1 km per bar), so you lose some power in those parts. Especially in the sprint it can be of advantage, though, and generally works well.

Problem was that his system somehow got linked to the other guy's bike computer, though, so he could turn down his pressure :D
Did Vos and PFP ride with the adaptable pressure system yesterday? No talk about that in relation to PFPs win?

The centre of the road looking better than the paths at the side. Good.

They did, yeah

“For sure it was super good to have lower pressure on the cobbled zones," said Ferrand-Prévot at the post race media conference. "I could see that we were much more comfortable, with less jumping there was more adherence on the back wheel. To be able to pump (up the tyres) again on the tarmac was super good," [...][ At the end of the race on the road to finish, I had four bars and that makes a big difference."

[...]
"I changed almost every sector. It's super quick when you put less pressure, it's 'phshhh' and goes down," said Ferrand-Prévot. "To go up to four bars takes a few minutes, so you need to be patient."
