We had rain overnight, quite hard at times, in the Paris region, but it should be drier later today. No dust, at least...
I don't love it either, but I'm also not a fan of remote shifting, either. I like bikes to be fully mechanical, without having to need batteries to function.I would like a WVA win but if it is because of that tire system it will be a bit of an asterisk win (I know its legal, but it feels a bit too much like were jn formula 1), which would be a shame because he is good enough to win without it, tho I get it does increase his chances.
I had a dream before Dwars door Vlaanderen that Jumbo would launch a massive attack, get away alone with 3 or 4 riders, with Wout winning the race. That wasn't all wrong at least.I had a dream that Mads Pedersen won this race. Which means he won't win because my dreams never come true.
My cheering hierarchy: Wout>Pogacar>Pederson>Ganna>anybody else>MVDP>Philipsen
My prediction: Exactly the same podium as last Sunday (Possibly exchange Wout for Pederson)
My 100 to 1: Brennan

It is probably Laporte doing it from home."Remote shifting"? As long as it's happening on the bike, surely it's not remote...
I've just seen the betting on Ganna has been suspended on Skybet, has he withdrawn, does anyone know?
Also, the race wasn't on cobbles but on gravel, and I saw Ganna disappear in front of me on a long uphill section. It got weirder after that.

Van Aert will be alone in the lead after Carrefour de l'Arbre, but Pogi will chase him down, and Philipsen will win this bike race in a small group sprint.

Did Vos and PFP ride with the adaptable pressure system yesterday? No talk about that in relation to PFPs win? There was a bit of talk about it earlier in the thread, yeah.
Sep Vanmarcke tested it for Belgian press and he gave it a 9/10. According to him, it slightly increases the risk of flat tires, though, and it takes a while to get pressure back up after the cobbles (1 km per bar), so you lose some power in those parts. Especially in the sprint it can be of advantage, though, and generally works well.

Problem was that his system somehow got linked to the other guy's bike computer, though, so he could turn down his pressure![]()
Yup, 5 hours to dry.

I mean I am all for relegating Roubaix from monument status to gimmick circus. And Red Rick will not speak.
