but the velodrome sprint is always different to a normal road sprint, because they do that slow lap thing, and its about who remembers how to sprint for the track sprint line.

so I dont think its necessarily about who is better/quicker in the outright sprint, its about getting positioning.

Its inevitable it would go like this, but it's unfortunate that the other riders aside from LaPorte in MDVPs group don't do some hard pulls to help out. It's the only way they can come back.
Let's see how it ends. If van der Poel finishes last in the group, you're right.

Yeah. But Pogi might just have the bigger engine despite burning a bit more fuel on the way.
