among them "on enteint tout". people turning the tv off, as if it was the 12th time Seixas wins alone against a WT peloton. some French people are so mad
"ridicule et honteux". wow some ppl on the Gruppetto forum are getting angry
C'est un assassin. Now he needs to slay Pogacar at Liege.

Seixas truly is a phenomenon, he is destroying the best 2nd tier GC riders in the world, I dare to say that he is already at Vingegaard level at least on these climbs.
You never know until they actually race against each other. Vingegaard opened up a similar gap in Catalunya on a climb that wasn't nearly as hard as this, and there the riders behind were at least cooperating a little bit. Seixas could certainly give him a run for his money though.

If this turns out to be true, Seixas will be even more dangerous. If his TT times can hold up to Jonas, he has some serious speed. Riders like Felix Gall and Matt Riccitello working will really help. Decathlon raced well today, did what they could when they could. Bora did ok..Visma still had decent showing as long as you don't compare the result to Seixas. UAE had nothing, Del Toro was flat and others were worse.

Tailwind and terrible chase, I would expect Vingegaard to be quite a bit faster on the climb, but not on the descent.

We have often labelled Jonas as dropping a WATT BOMB
Pogacar going THERMONUCLEAR
Roglic doing the ROGLSTOMP

I would officially like to christen Paul's monster attacks as the equivalent of dropping a SEIXBOMB
I prefer to say he has gone THERMOBIBLICAL

In Avenir, he was half a minute ahead of Widar; in the autumn, his level improved; in Algarve, he was at Ayuso's level; in Strade, he was some better than o Del Toro's; today, he's 1000 levels ahead of Widar, Lorenzo Finn, Pericas...., 100 ahead of Ayuso, and 70 ahead of Del Toro.

I've commented the rest in another thread.

Vingegaard also looks stellar this year. But its absolutely safe to say he is clearly better than Roglic, Evenepoel, Ayuso or who else is a 2nd tier GT rider. Seems like we have an unbeatable 3 now.

Can Decathlon somehow exclude him from the Tour? Podium hopes for the rest are looking even worse now when the 3rd stage racing monster appeared.
Better than Seixas going to an Iberian Agricultural Holiday in August/September.

For me the bs about 'pReSsUrE' is a non-argument, if he's really that good it will only get bigger as he improves and this is the lowest pressure TdF he can go to.

The question is if Decathlon rather want to win the Vuelta or get the TdF podium. And for sponsors and getting that extra money in to give an astronomical Bag to Seixas to stay, I think the TdF makes way more sense.

And no, my Stuntgranny doing the Vuelta has nothing to do with it

Yeah, Rogla had better focus on Vuelta and hope Pogi doesnt appear there. As for the Tour other BORA guys will be screwed if Seixas goes there ( I suppose he will ride it).

The name of the thread should be changed. If he continues to progress as fast as he did he certanly won't wait until 2031 ;)

Very impressive day, if he can maintain this level for the entire week, in my opinion he should definitely do the TdF.

He would go into the TdF as the 3rd favorite by far. (unless Evenepoel shows dramatic progress).
