I think Tadej will still get 2027 TdF and only do Giro - Vuelta in 2028
The way Paulito is improving, Teddy doesn't have a chance next year. There is also a curse, no one could win 6 TdF in the past. Of course, one rider achieved 6 wins but we all know the curse prevailed.

Like I said, we will see. He doesn't need to improve that much anymore so if I had to put money, I would put on Seixas next year.
his performance today is below Pogacar in numbers. And we don’t know how he handle a 3rd week in grand tour so still think he need to take steps. He also very tall, might be a disadvantage for high long mountain. Let’s see time will tell, just let this amazing kid grow.

He’s not close to Pogacar right now, but I think he’s clearly better than the Remco’s, Roglic’s, Del Toros of the world. He might be the #2 all around rider (classics + stage races). He is very clearly not at Pogacar level.

I said next year, not this year.

Today was my first time watching Seixas. He's one to keep an eye on.
No boundaries, no frontiers, foie gras - the last true French art form.

And now people go lol overboard.

Riders make a jump like this only once.
Seixas has had several impressive improvements in the last two years. In 2023, Bisiaux was touted as Decathlon's next big star, no Seixas. In 2024, Seixas made a stunning leap. In 2025, it seemed he would maintain that level until the Avenir, which he didn't win so easily. In autumn, he made another impressive leap. This year, he's taken another leap in February, and from Algarve to now, he seems to have made another bigger.

There have also been those who made a crazy leap forward at a young age and then plummeted. I'm thinking of Berzin and Saronni. They had a monstrous peak very young. Nowadays, it seems less likely to happen with the control that teams have.
They might experience a stagnation like Ayuso, but Berzin and Saronni had an alarming decline too young.

Ayuso never showed any improvement in his performance. His best year was his first, but his Vuelta, while a good result, wasn't spectacular, and he benefited from Roglic's crash. Ayuso showed signs of being good, but that he might not improve. Seixas has been improving month by month since 2024. He only experienced a slight stagnation in 2025 until after Avenir.

Seixas looks better than Pog at the same age , ie 19

I really hope he doesn't do the Tour this year and develops at his own pace.
But I think he will do the Tour because that manager they have at Decathlon, the one demanding results on Netflix and who knows very little about cycling (didnt come from cycling) said late last year that Seixas was doing the Tour this year. Decathlon are I would say beside themselves with their young hope.. A top rider in a French team definitely capable of winning the Tour ..happy sponsors I would say and they will want to show him off

Of course a 3 week tour is a different challenge for him and 3 weeks is different to a week long race on the body esp at 19 year old

Has to be disconcerting for someone like Ayuso who should be beating Seixas at a Spanish race and the rest of the field of young contenders...he has blown them out of the water

Oh no, that guy is still running the team? Seemed like a complete disaster but will now have his delusions reinforced by the genetic freak show of Seixas.
