It will be the year he will become a record holder alongside Pogacar and others.
I think Tadej will still get 2027 TdF and only do Giro - Vuelta in 2028

The way Paulito is improving, Teddy doesn't have a chance next year. There is also a curse, no one could win 6 TdF in the past. Of course, one rider achieved 6 wins but we all know the curse prevailed.I think Tadej will still get 2027 TdF and only do Giro - Vuelta in 2028

And now people go lol overboard. The way Paulito is improving, Teddy doesn't have a chance next year. There is also a curse, no one could win 6 TdF in the past. Of course, one rider achieved 6 wins but we all know the curse prevailed.
We will see. He is 19, not 23.And now people go lol overboard.
Riders make a jump like this only once.
Age doesn't matter nearly as much as people make it out to be.We will see. He is 19, not 23.
Like I said, we will see. He doesn't need to improve that much anymore so if I had to put money, I would put on Seixas next year.Age doesn't matter nearly as much as people make it out to be.
Many riders have made a similarly steep development at very different ages.
People are overreacting if they think he's close to Pogacar now.Like I said, we will see. He doesn't need to improve that much anymore so if I had to put money, I would put on Seixas next year.
his performance today is below Pogacar in numbers. And we don’t know how he handle a 3rd week in grand tour so still think he need to take steps. He also very tall, might be a disadvantage for high long mountain. Let’s see time will tell, just let this amazing kid grow.Like I said, we will see. Ayuso was also 19 when he stagnatedI said next year, not this year.
Seixas has had several impressive improvements in the last two years. In 2023, Bisiaux was touted as Decathlon's next big star, no Seixas. In 2024, Seixas made a stunning leap. In 2025, it seemed he would maintain that level until the Avenir, which he didn't win so easily. In autumn, he made another impressive leap. This year, he's taken another leap in February, and from Algarve to now, he seems to have made another bigger. And now people go lol overboard.

Oh no, that guy is still running the team? Seemed like a complete disaster but will now have his delusions reinforced by the genetic freak show of Seixas.Seixas looks better than Pog at the same age , ie 19
I really hope he doesn't do the Tour this year and develops at his own pace.
But I think he will do the Tour because that manager they have at Decathlon, the one demanding results on Netflix and who knows very little about cycling (didnt come from cycling) said late last year that Seixas was doing the Tour this year. Decathlon are I would say beside themselves with their young hope.. A top rider in a French team definitely capable of winning the Tour ..happy sponsors I would say and they will want to show him off
Of course a 3 week tour is a different challenge for him and 3 weeks is different to a week long race on the body esp at 19 year old
Has to be disconcerting for someone like Ayuso who should be beating Seixas at a Spanish race and the rest of the field of young contenders...he has blown them out of the water
This ^^^.People are overreacting if they think he's close to Pogacar now.
I am on board. His performance at this age is staggering - he destroyed everyone the last two days - and he is not riding against farmers. So it seems like the hype train is going full steam ahead.
Too soon for me to jump aboard, but the kid is certainly a new wonderboy to observe closely and carefully.
This Itzulia is a nice test but there are question marks over his different opponent's form.
I think you really have to consider the performances of the last two days and ask youself, how much would Pog have done better? It's difficult to imagine Pog, simply because Pog, would have blown Seixas out of the water, the way the latter did everyone else here in Itzulia thus far. This would mean the same time gaps Paul gave the competition in the opening TT and then on the first mountain stage, Pogacar would have given him. But this is just not realistic, at least I don't think it is. Consequently, one would conclude Paul's level is indeed close to Pogacar's in a theoretical framework for the moment. Forget about Strade Bianche. That's history now and, in any case, Seixas was second at one minute against a Pog who was tackling the first of a serious of big races he was aiming to win, MSR, Flanders and Roubaix next. By contrast, Paul's first truely big objective is Liege, which means only now he is really starting to fire rev up his engine. Granted Liege will let us know the true situation.People are overreacting if they think he's close to Pogacar now.
