The next great hope for the French.
Yes, another climber (they have had plenty of those) but this boy can also Time Trial.
Currently 18 years-old and at 1.85m / 6.0 feet tall; 61 kilos / 134lbs he has the physical attributes to be a top all-rounder.
Won the Junior World ITT title in 2024, the same season he won GC's and King of the Mountains jerseys in multiple stage races.
He is already gifting teammates stages (2025 Tour of the Alps) because he is going win so many races in his career.

For me, right now he is with some distance the highest hope to become the next french Tour de France winner.

His performance in the first three months of his professional career is the best performance ever achieved by a junior who has moved directly to the professional ranks. I would even rate his performance higher than the first month of Evenepoel, who had his first real breakthrough results in June and especially later in August in his first pro season.

So yeah, very promising. Question is of course how much he can and will still improve. But right now, definitely a man who could achieve the biggest victories in the future.

I still can't read his name correctly, every single time I see his name I read "Raul Seixas" rather than "Paul", and he's going to need to win something huge for me to be able to overcome that.

In Brazil, shouting "toca Raul!" at bands to demand some Raul Seixas covers is the equivalent of the "Freebird!" catcall, at one point being so prevalent that Bruce Springsteen of all people opened a set at Rock in Rio with a version of Seixas' "Sociedade Alternativa" to pop the crowd and ward off the "toca Raul!" calls between songs.

Very interesting rider that I am starting to follow closely. Seixas can climb, time trail, descend and even sprint. Reminds me a bit of a young Pogacar.
Definitely the most multidimensional talent France have had in a long time as Bardet/Gaudu/Pinot etc could not hold up in the ITT.

Looks very exciting to watch and follow his progress.

Initially, in his first season in the professional ranks, Paul Seixas was only meant to take part in two WorldTour stage races — the UAE Tour and the Tour of Guangxi. His spring campaign was supposed to revolve around the Alpes Isère Tour and, above all, the Giro d’Italia U23. But the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale rider’s programme has since been reshuffled. Although the French 2.2 race had long since disappeared from his calendar, Seixas will now also skip the Italian U23 event. And with good reason: he’s set to ride the Critérium du Dauphiné (8–15 June), as reported by DirectVelo.

This week, the 18-year-old from the Rhône region is on a training camp in Sierra Nevada to prepare for the rest of the season.

In his most recent outing, the Tour of the Alps, Seixas made a strong impression, notably finishing 2nd on two stages — including the final one, where he crossed the line hand in hand with teammate Nicolas Prodhomme.

I hope that Paul manages the "Next French Hope" pressure, but on the bike, he's light years ahead of (my) schedule. Good job today Paul Seixas! His team has to rally, give him an amazing learning opportunity, invest. He's real.
He's lightyears ahead of my schedule as well! (Then again, I'm in my 40s so I'm on a particarly slow schedule. )

Seriously though: he does seem to have some incredible talent. I just hope as well that he can withstand the pressure of riding for a French team. Albeit the best French team at the moment.

Seriously impressive yesterday. If he was just a time trial specialist, I would have been impressed to top 10 a WT TT as an 18-year old, but he's so much more than just that.

Is he the most talented sub 20-year old? There's some serious competition from Brennan and Philipsen.

I think 2033 is a better bet. 31yo Evenepoel, 32yo Pogi, and 34yo Vingo. Still too strong in my opinion.
...and he will still be only 26 at the time. It feels so strange to think that we are probably seeing the the generation after the current aliens introduce themselves at the pro level right now.
