Anyone else think the headline of that article about Sagan on the front page is really bad? Deliberately trying to make him seem arrogant when that isn't what he said.
Yeah, the headline was just clickbait.

It wouldn't surprise me if Sagan was looking to get a MVDP kimd of deal, a smaller team that allows him to also ride MTB and pick his goals while still getting seven figures from Specialized.
Sagan could ride anything to promote bikes for Specialized. Looking at the roadies spending $5grand on gravel bikes and then riding on the road is indication of that market and his brand affiliation could last past his racing career. Endorsements make the icon richer.I don't think he wants to ride MTB, honestly. He is a road racer and has admitted to be that.
I think it is one of the better interviews I have read with him, and it was nice to see that he doesn't feel like being in the autumn of his career.
Can he still do the BORA appliance commercial if he’s no longer on that team?Sagan could ride anything to promote bikes for Specialized. I guess it's not impossible considering DQS also rides with specialized bikes, but Sagan will have to agree to take a way lower salary. Probably also depends on who the new sponsor(s) will be and how big the budget will be. Lefevere wants a bigger budget, but I can imagine that he mainly wants to spend it on improving the GC-side of the team with Evenepoel there.Sagan to DQS next season?
Can't see Trek happening with Pedersen there. If he still wants the same salary ISN might be he is only option. They are crazy enough to throw money around.I just can't see Sagan at DQS. He's more a puma than a wolf to me. Israel... EF with sponsor's help... or Trek?
maybe he will change plans as WvA did. I haven't read his upcoming calendar schedule so far.So Sagan is about to round into shape for...a month of nothing. 15th place at RvV not bad.
If he's planning to do Giro, Tour, Olympics he should take a break now cause end of the year it's the big goal to take a 4th rainbow and Roubaix perfectly placed right after.
Seems like that Sagan next stage race will be the Romandie and right after the Giro for a second time.If he's planning to do Giro, Tour, Olympics he should take a break now cause end of the year it's the big goal to take a 4th rainbow and Roubaix perfectly placed right after.
Yes and no. I can't see him doing what MVdP does/did, but I could see him doing select dirt events.I don't think he wants to ride MTB, honestly. He is a road racer and has admitted to be that.

He'd be going to Liege as a domestique for Schachmann. Not that there's anything wrong with that, and doing some domestique work might actually endear him to his possible new boss Lefevere...He should do Brabantse Pijl, Amstel and Liege before Romandie. Would do him good imo.
