It gets raced really hard I think, which is visible by the amount of guys that get doubled. They use every samll slope in the street for attacks, which makes for a nice viewing experience I think!TMP402 said:That was weird. It was like the sprint was in slow motion or something. I guess a lot of Tour fatigue. In other words, in Poland you know it's a sprint finish, but here it looked like one of those medium mountain stages that Albasini or Valverde usually win.
Yeah, he shouldn't try to win anymore now that he's reached 20!Brullnux said:Sbaragli could have easily won that, but he wanted to protect his lead in the top-10 competition![]()

How good is Boom in Ardennes-like terrain?

Well his Ardennes triple results are: never started FW, never finished LBL (DNF in 2012), and of his four AGR participations, three were DNFs (2010, 2013 and 2015) and he only finished once, coming 96th in 2012. However, he came 5th in the 2012 world championships road race that featured the Cauberg - he was behind Valverde and Degenkolb in the big group that finished five seconds down on Gilbert and one after EBH.

He also dropped Ivanov, who won AGR in the same year, in the Tour of Belgium ardennes stage of 2009. He also won the overall that year. Plus ofcourse vuelta stage win on a much harder terrain with a long climb, winning from a break.

Unfortunately Boom doesn't his profession that seriously in training etc... it has to be all fun. With the right mentality he would've gotten more out of his career. He is riding on almost only pure talent
