Pippo reported to have said "...farce..."

I agree with "farce"; however, I suspect, for diametrically opposed reasons (as per others above) to PP's.

For pragmatic reasons Pippo's protest will be restricted to words only. To contest would be a waste of time and money (with maybe additional, non-recoverable, legal fees). In addition, there is potential, albeit small, that an appeal could result in extension of ban.

Pippo can follow the LA paradigm and state; as he has, "...farce." Then add: "I am tired of this witch hunt, I give up!"..."I like my credibility".

To which I say: "Grand to live in Fantasy Land".

I am not a pro cyclist, I'm not working for an Italian pro cycling team, I'm not living in Italy, I don't speak or read Italian and I don't follow cycling all that closely, but still I have known for years that the Italian Olympic Comittee (CONI) has forbidden Italian cyclists from working with Dr. Michele Ferrari. How can Pozzato not have known? Farce indeed.
