Ugh, so they added Balsamo anyway. Would like to swap her in for stages if I am not too late.
Same for me.

It's perfectly fine. It only means that I now can't have her anymore :p

My stage huntress will be Brennauer instead. Klein is another possibility for the IT, but Brennauer at least has a decent chance on more than the first stage, if she's found her legs again. Ivanchenko is a dark horse after her win in Bretagne, but that was in a worse field.

I would have liked to have had Sina Frei as one of my picks as well, but that felt too left field in the end.

I am completely blank about who to pick...

Originally I had Klein as my stage pick, as she could contend a sprint in a slightly hilly stage as well as the ITT, and I had Neff as a GC pick, but I decided to gamble on Jolanda winning a mountain stage but not the GC. There's just not enough of a record of TTs for her and road TTs are quite specialised.

Was very tempted by Brand for the GC as well, but I picked on form in the end. Which is also kind of why I was looking at the original startlist and planning to go for Chabbey, since she was in form, unlikely to lead the GTs with Kasia in the team, and would have been motivated on home roads, but 'twas not to be.

Of course Klein also has a fine sprint in her, but the team will more likely be betting on Paladin, if stage 3 comes down to a sprint in a bigger group.

I hadn't realised how late they'll be riding the Vaduz crit race, but at least that should help a bit with the heat.
