Wow, let me get this straight. The anti-armstrong clique wants Lance to donate money from his charity for your local hospitals.
Instead of whining here chappie, why not have your local hospital administrators write a letter asking for donations?
Hospital, Education administrators, that is their job, they get big bucks asking the federal, state, city for funding. If the budget is bad they can even ask charity groups such as LIVESTRONG for additional funding.
Sorry to obstrifugate your complaint, I am trying to help.

They have been doing that, chappie. The case is there is not such LIVESTRONG crap in my country. Your lord never came and will even not know where my country is on the map. Anyway, appreciate your help.

It's an "A" not an "E"

To be fair the only person mentioning libel is this Jamie Lindsey guy...

Just to keep all the facts straight here, the above guy seems to go by Lindsay. I point this out only to remove any incorrect connection between he and Bicycling Mag's Joe Lindsey, which is what I first thought might be the case until I realized the spelling difference.

Things get confusing enough as it is. ;)

Curious to know, what country do you live in? Sorry for the chappie bit, no insult intended. By the way, my sister is a school administrator in Sonoma county, and my wife works in the county hospital in Monterey Co..
In the schools here in California, all students can attend, free, even the children of illegal aliens. At the public hospitals no one is turned away, even illegals(which we have many of plus, documented out of country workers in California.)
I noticed the same thing when I lived in Mexico.
Does it work that way in your country?

Jesus christ. Talk about intentional obfuscation and veiled analogies leading to fallacious conclusions.

Just to clarify

Race Radio didn't actively ask anyone to join him. He just made irresistable arguments over on RBR which were damning indictments of Armstrong. I had my doubts and his arguments eliminated my confusion on all matters doping because of the persuasive arguments he made.

A number of us, including Race Radio, were on RBR and were banned because we were speaking out very strongly about the evidence on Armstrong.

I will say that RR never sank to personal attacks on any board I saw him on and there was absolutely no reason for him to have been banned from any board at any time.

There is a reason Race Radio has a great many followers on Twitter in a very short time. That reason is because he provides a great deal of insightful truthful detail on the continuing Pharmstrong lies.

You know that Smeara 1 had a legitimate complaint. Just like all of the Anti-Armstrong Clan. The justice of your complaints, brings a fallacious smile to my large tool.

I was born and live in Brazil. I am also sorry for any words that do not sound right. The fact is that most of the club weekend riders that live in my area bought the yellow wrist bands, paying as much as USD 15, and they do not even know that LIVESTRONG does not exist in my country.

It is really sad to hear that they wear them "for the cause" (which I doubt it is the case).

Our hospitals are in need for donations, but we live in a very corrupt system. The government don't care about the current state of health and the situation seems to worse every year.

So, these same people who ride their nice and expensive bikes and wear those yellow wrist bands "for the cause" as they say, could very well contribute with the abandoned public hospitals.

I hope I made myself clear. I'm sorry again if I sounded rude.

Regards,
Roberto

Roberto,

You made yourself crystal clear. You hit the nail on the head as to why the Armstrong fraud is so disgusting. Money that could be used to help people is going into Armstrongs jet fuel so he can go around the world and nail skeezers. Then he hides behind hope and all his lackeys who also profit from the fraud ferociously defend him.

Thank you Roberto. I am sorry that it is that way in your country.

On behalf of myself I want to say, if you donate to an organization it is wise to know who you are donating to. If Race Radio has a legitimate reason for attacking Armstrong, he is free to do so. I would still like to know who he is, what country he comes from and what his motivation is.

Off subject, I would also like to say that having a family member in health care we have a legitimate gripe. Anyone out there who trains, rides a 5000 dollar bike and doesn't have health insurance is a drain on the system thus a how can you say it douche. It happened over here a top level woman racer in the Bay Area was hit head on, life flighted given critical care and died. No health insurance, I know the road she was on, a very dangerous road, not her fault, but she left it to her parents and if they do not pay us the other insured to pay the deceased bill.
If you can afford to ride a high end bike, go to races, etc. have the basic health insurance. It is your responsibility.

Once again Roberto, sorry about the situation with people acting high and mighty about making a donation. That is extremely immature of them.
Your country is magnificent, and your people need to be treated fairly, plus I hope that your ecology, and indigenous become respected. I have many friends from Brasil. Fred Taylor

Toolhand has been (mostly) staying out of discussions there ever since his bizarre posts here a few months ago. Too little too late.

I missed those. Do you have a link or the thread title?

This whole thing smacks of Uncle Ron calling Greg Lemond. I am sure that at the time it seemed funny to FLandis and his manager. It ended up looking, at best, very childish. This pettiness will not go over well for someone pretending to be a philanthropist.

JamieLindsay is a nasty piece of sh**

We've been twittering - some things he has said:

Kimmage is a liar and a pond scum. Journalistic fraud.
Slander is the only way he can resuscitate his floundering career.

About Rce Radio he is saying that it is a PR stunt for his new business. What is has said is all lies.

These are quotes from Mr Lindsay.

These are quotes from the sick f***.

He's a **** sandwich wrapped in a ********* floating a vat of *** ******.

I think he sees the writing on the wall. His stream of easy income from the LieStrong scam is going to dry up. No more BS'ing to separate poor suckers from their money for a yellow ******* wristband. The end of the LieStrong cancer is near. Tick tock.

Edit: self-censoring after seeing Barrus's post.

Guys I understand you all have strong feelings about it and I and the rest don't mind you venting this a bit, but please try to tone it down a bit. It would be much appreciated

Seriously - I wouldn't bother with Lindsay or AntiRaceRadio, neither of them appear to have the answers to RRs legitimate questions, so they are only going to continue to muddy the waters.

Perhaps Lindsay is angry because after his own cancer he raised a lot of money for Livestrong and does not want to deal with how that money has been subsequently spent.

The people who have to address these questions are in the Livestrong HQ in Austin - I remember before when their finances were being question (IIRC by Cozybeehive) they put up a rebuttal on their website.

If Livestrong are seeking donations from the public then they should publicly address those concerns.

Firstly I want to apologise for my lagnuage in the past few posts. I am angry at some things being said about Kimmage and RR...however I was wrong and it merely detracts from what I am trying to say.

As for Lindsay....sounds completely brainwashed. It's amazing.

So the most litigious cyclist, with a team of attorneys at bay, chooses to not pursue a libel case against a major publisher? Highly unlikely. Armstrong's mealy-mouthed response to the SI reporting says it all, really.
Doesn't Lancey-poo say that now he has more important things to do like drive his kids to school.

Then again his (or Livestrong's) legal and PR fees must be running into the 6 figures monthly, hard to belive they wouldn't litigate if they could. I would guess they don't because they don't like the odds.

My dislike for twitter is confirmed. I can't even figure who are the good guys and who are the bad, much less who is saying what to whom.

Wow what a soap opera. Why don't all of you RR fans chip in for a plane ticket to Austin as well as offer some pro bono work to go sit beside him at Livestrong? 15 pages of whining and yet nobody is putting their money where their mouth is.

When the LAF request donations do they insist that people have to fly to Austin to do so?
If Livestrong want the public to donate to their charity then they should be willing to publicly discuss why many of their (program) expenses are so high.
