Probably a good idea. I get wound up when someone threatens me, especially legally. The Lindsay guy thinks he can bully people for some reason. Keeps threatening to sue everyone. Too much of a hothead to realize he doesn't know what he is talking about. I actually do kind of feel sorry for the guy though. Seems clueless as to his cluelessness.

Nothing makes a needy, insecure suitor soft like ignoring them. He'll have to look at the Nike poster on his ceiling for a week to gather up the....courage to pursue you again.

How do you know he reads the forum? I do wonder why he does not come on here and discuss these issues on here (now if he kept the same tone and threatened people he would not be here long, but still it seems like a more direct manner to adress everyone)

I reckon because when half wits like that show up round here, they immediately realise they're swimming against the current. Their world is full of dying myths, stale legends, outright lies, and general untruthiness. Here, they have no defense.
Polish and Flicker are only just tolerated, and mostly for entertainment purposes.

I guess you're right, although it would be nice to see some people with opposing views on here, as long as everyone stays civil. I think it would do the board good, but we haven't really had anyone with differing views on this subject come on, perhaps it's because of what you say, perhaps it's because the general opinion of whether LA doped or not has changed. Also I don't think Polish and Flicker are genuine anymore, they play an act and to have some real genuine fanboys would probably make these discussions a bit better. Although I am happy that the board appears to at least move somewhat away from the LA "haters" and "fanboys" and into some better discussions about other things.

But still he could try to present his case when he sees that he is being discussed here

It's comical, only he doesn't understand the joke. If he thinks he can sue for "slander" regarding the things I have written about him personally, he still has absolutely no case. He seems to think that writing that someone is a moron is "slander." I won't bother to recite the law on that, but suffice to say that he is no closer to having a case than is Livestrong. The guy is a real piece of work.

Actually, in the US, when it comes to public figures (Armstrong and The LAF are both considered "public figures." Sounds strange, but there is precedent stating that a charity like LAF is a public figure too), the burden the person who sues has to prove is that when I made a statement, I did it with malice (knowing that my statements were completely false and were made only to injure). They have to show that that I didn't believe my statements to be true when I made them. It's an almost impossible burden of proof. That's why it is funny to read what he has to say because he obviously has no knowledge what-so-ever about the things he threatens.

I wouldn't worry about Armstrong sueing you guys. Everybody know you are so poPular that it would be impossible to find a fair juror or jury. I mean really maybe you guys are only unknown for your good work in Eastern New Guinea and THE FORMER BURMA, NO FEAR.

That's what I am exactly willing to do, but in my mother-speaking tongue to dismistify some misconceptions about LAF in my country.

Lance aint be suing anyone. But he likes his people to think that he will. Right you are… what exactly is the slander? That I’ve not established. Just because you don’t like what you hear doesn’t mean its not true. None the less I don’t think you can blame the messenger. I think the problem is at source.

Slander is also spoken, whereas generally libel is written.

But yes, the person doing the Suing has to prove that the person making the accusations knew those accusations to be false when they made them.

Its a very hard thing to prove. Libel is easier, but I cant see anyone getting done for libelous tweets, they would have to shut down twitter.

This is perhaps the most absurd part of this whole thing. I had intended on keeping my exchange with Livestrong private. It was not until they enlisted their followers to smear me on the internet that I posted the questions that I had sent.

It is comedy that a guy who has spent the last 2 weeks calling me every name in the book wants to sue me for asking Livestrong questions. The obvious reason why they have not come on here is that they have already been banned multiple times.

This whole episode has confirmed a few things that we always thought. Wonderboy is indeed obsessed with this forum and some of his groupies clearly have a tenuous grasp on reality.
