No but the clinic isn't expecting any answers from livewrong is it?

It appears the inquiry is quite simple. RaceRadio asked some simple questions they said come to HQ Livewrong, he said no. Then he was getting attacked in an imtimidating and vicious manner by fanboys. He raised it on here. The substance is obvious.

It is not whether a charity is obligated by law or not to answer, it is a manner of honesty in their dealings of their publicly received donations. If they have nothing to hide why not answer honestly? if they have something to hide invite the person to HQ and threaten them behind closed doors.;)

If you believe livewrong are an honest foundation say so. i believe it is a slush fund for wonderboy.

He said he was donating money to the floods in Australia. There is a list online of all the donors who made donations over aus$10,000. he said he would donate aus$50,000. his or livewrong's name is not on the list. why? he never gave any money. Does he not want his name on the list and wishes to remain anonymous well why say it in the first place?

What part of transparency do LAF, skippy, and others not understand?

The one difference I see is that the anti-LA people take comments and posts from pro-LA people very personally.

That's because the "pro-LA" people who continue to post regularly on this forum do not really believe 99 percent of the things they say. At least, that's the impression I get of Flicker & Polish, whose points are often so absurd, goofy, or humorous that their only real purpose seems to be to irritate the "anti-LA people." The tactic seems to work, as you've noticed. But because Flickpol don't have any conviction behind the things they're posting, there's no reason for them to become similarly agitated.

"Pro-LA" folks who believe what they say & do get irritable rarely last long here because they bring little knowledge of pro cycling, especially that in Europe, to the table. They just try to find ways to gainsay any criticisms of LA, relying on already-discredited arguments that people associate with LA's public relations team (most tested athlete, never tested positive, heart the size of rhino, etc.). They don't seem to be here to learn anything, but just to find ways to contradict criticism of LA.

Mods--hope I'm not out of line for posting this, since I post so rarely. But I've been wanting to say these things for a while. I love reading this forum because there are so many knowledgable posters, either people who seem to have ridden professionally or at an elite level (eg, Darryl Webster, 131313, Oldman), or those with inside connections that allow them to give hints about things weeks before they appear in the press, if they appear at all (eg, The Hog, Colm Murphy). RR is clearly one of the latter--and has perhaps the most reliable sources of all. I'm therefore not surprised LA's acolytes have gone after him. I'm glad the mods here ban pro-LA trolls who have nothing to add to the discussion and would drive away such knowledgable posters.

that is a quality post, I must say. great analysis.

I also noticed that "pro-LA-ers" often accuse the "anti-LA-ers" of "hating" LA. As if hate were a motive.
My impression is rather that hatred is rarely a motive behind any of the anti-LA posts or posters. It's much more about standing up for those who want to make an earnest living, without defrauding others.

Calling someone a hater is always easier then discussing the topic

RR--I agree completely that overall the reporting requirements for 501(c)3's--and corporations generally--are a complete joke. I think your questions deserve complete answers and are questions similar--but more advanced--to those I generated myself after reading what was available of Livestrong's financials. The whole .com-.org thing disgusts on an appearance level at the very least, and is emblematic of the web of conflicts centered on Mr. Gunderson.

Obviously personal attacks on you are unacceptable. But really nothing about this is personal; it's all about money and this is just the way they seem to prefer to do business. Seems we'd have an easier time getting information on Scientology.

So, may I ask why my last hammer on nail post was deleted, while some useless comments still here ?

Was it offtopic ?
Considering this thread(title) - I don't think so

Or was that another one of these posts, that were too much hammer on nail, with an accuracy rate of 99% ?
Yes.

Since you posted it I would say that there is a 1/10 of 1% chance of that being the case.

Now that wasn't hard was it?
It was easy.

It is easy to call someone "a hater" (or "a troll") to avoid discussing issues.
That was RR's point. (That was my point too).

BTW, you are a hater lol. And RR is a troll

it is a joke how the pro wonderboy posters here accuse those who want to see the truth about wonderboy and his foundation outed for what it really is of being haters. For hate you just need to look at the vitriol aimed at RaceRadio over nothing more than a few simple questions about a so called 'charity' in order to clarify some points that people have been accusing the 'charity' of misusing its funds.

For those fanboys who are accusing others of all the hatred towards LA and his foundation, how about you do something constructive and contact the foundation and provide the answers to these questions that we all would like to know and appease us that this so called charity is what it says it is and not misusing funds.

I had a real #winner call contact my employer and leave strange messages on my home phone. Coincidentally, it's the day I went on a Twitter posting spree about Livestrong.

For many, Livestrong is a cult.

If the goal was to raise awareness of their existence to my attorney, then they can consider this round a success.

Livestrong Leaders have more in common with $cientology mucky-mucks than legitimate fund-raisers.

I'll just try again:

You can even form opinions by just asking/sending questions.
And it's not hard to find out, where these come from.
I know, hard to accept and too complex for some people.

So LS-reaction is understandable and some guys around here seem to be joking when they describe themselfes as serious and objective.

It's refreshing that you're comfortable with your being. However there are a number of trolls on this forum who have yet to come out from under the bridge. I think that once they do they'll find it to be a turning point in their lives, one toward a better future for themselves and their brethren.

Interestingly a friend of mine from another forum got into it with anti-LA people on that forum and within 12 hours his boss was receiving emails trying to get him fired.

Like I said before, the extremes on both sides are out of hand.

Thats terrible - obviously you should name that forum so that people here who may visit there also don't have the same problem.
