Pretty impressive solo win for Nys, I think he can start challenging Van Aert when he returns (Van der Poel is likely still one step above everyone).
Impressive recovery from Mason to finish inside the top10.
Wielerflits reports he is staying in Europe for rest of season hoping to get a contract. I hope it works out, but contracts for non Dutch/Belgians are hard to come by.Shout out to Strohmeyer! Faded there at the end, but still impressive to be in the mix that long.

I don't have a problem with that - it's a sensible decision. For his size, he's done well in CX........it if wasn't already obvious, no more cross for pidcock for the foreseeable. says he found it the most hardest discipline, as least naturally gifted, and the most difficult to get up for...winter, living away for christmas etc.
Will probably do more gravel in the off season as he did with the burn in SA, and mountain bike worlds next year.
There are some lesser American riders (Kaya Musgrave, Luke Walter) racing on a small German team.Wielerflits reports he is staying in Europe for rest of season hoping to get a contract. I hope it works out, but contracts for non Dutch/Belgians are hard to come by.
