He knows he has a higher profile so I'm sure he attempts to present a more polished image when he has time to prepare for it.
I do think that he is conflicted over the whole situation. The one interesting comment he made was at the end of the interview when they were talking about who should the tour victories go to and was lance still respected because he was the best even though everyone doped.
His response touched on the fact that it wasn't about being the best athlete, but rather having the best doctor, before he suggested it would be better not to dwell on that subject. It lends an air of credibility, though maybe its just more diversionary chatter.
I noticed that too. I was thinking pharmacology competition would be a good way to describe what he was hinting at.
It wouldn't surprise me if he had some PR assistance. I don't see Brailsford wanting him to be totally unmanaged in this situation.
