don't know why people complain about the quality of the live feed

i watched only youtube and the richmond app all this week and it was top quality.
The feed is O.K., but the production at the spot is, to be polite, weak.
Or you were ironic?

the production yes, it's bad. can't defend them on this one.
not a disaster, but bad.

............in my opinion UCI should do more to promote womens cycling.....major change should

be parity between mens and womens events ...same course same distance.........then respect

will be earned and equal pay due

........today valverde for the win ................?

It's all very nice to try to promote women's cycling by making it the same length but, whilst of course I think women need more equality in cycling, they are simply not as physically capable as the men. There's no ways women would be able to competitively race over 240km
There are events out there which are even more brutal than a 1 day cycling race (for example ironman triathlons or ultramarathons) and women do the exact same distance as the men.

The bunch sped up more than the breakaway slowed down.
Expect some renown names in the breakaway a couple of laps from now.

What countries will the youtube stream work from?

third world ones, for example in romania it works
The feed works in countries that are not televising it. For example, in the US it was on until just a few minutes ago, then it switched to the CNBC telecast.

duh!..............

anyway, there is hola.

Here in NL it works on YouTube and is on national tv too.

Apparently, the third world is growing.
It's becoming a desirable place.

After two hours of being bored staring at the TV, I decided to turn it on.

Ten minutes of 'racing' later, I'm regretting that decision. It was more exciting before, as there was a small insect on the screen struggling to find his way to the floor and I was rooting him on.

Of course nothing's happening right now, there's still 133 km to go. However, the pace has been relatively fast so far, thanks mostly to the Netherlands, and that's more than what I expected. The last few laps might actually be pretty entertaining.
